Was skeptical that this would be as fun as it was. We had a personalized feel morning, getting to pet, feed and hold the stingrays. Then we got to swim in another area to see more of them being fed. Stingray handlers were personable, informative and really made this a memorable morning.

As divers we cannot condone this activity. Stingrays are wild creatures and pennng them in to feed them titbits to please cruise passenhgers is totally wrong. They do not, and never will, interact with humans

We booked this cruise while on the Celebrity Equinox. Decent location and it was close to the port. They provided transportation, but it would have been an okay walk if we had known where it was. The rays were bigger than i thought - and friendly. They felt like the soft top of a damp mushroom - wet velvety. My husband thoroughly enjoyed the experience, though I was a bit more timid of the up close and personal experience. Snorkeling in the larger enclosure was more my speed, as the rays did not get close at all. Bathrooms were clean, belongings were safe in lock bags, souvenir dvd was only $45. a $12 t-shirt was a refreshing change from the much more expensive options at dolphin locations that we have visited in the past. A nice, relaxing break.

the texture of a stingray! the only thing i didnt like was the waste of time taking multiple pictures to sell to the touristas later. our belongings felt safe in the locker bags, the site was lovely and the education about rays was good. there were no physical challenges to a mature 56yo lady. the tour was thru carnival.
