“If you can only do one thing in Cozumel”

Owner description: Sail on one of the few single hull boats offering snorkeling and sunset trips. It's the best way to experience the beautiful waters surrounding Cozumel. This 47 foot vessel has tons of deck space to spread out and enjoy the day. Trips are limited to 20 people or less, making it fun, friendly and not overcrowded. They offer a variety of different trips for different budgets. Choose full service with a great lunch and drinks or bring your own. Flexible trips, affordable prices and a great way to spend the day! Cozumel has added a new Marina called Fonatur. Locations have been changed. I have tried to change this in my profile and trip advisor will not allow it. All the boats in Caleta have moved to the new marina called Fonatur. Sorry for the misunderstandings, but we did try to change this and it was not allowed???

By far, sailing and snorkeling with Dario and his son was one of the best things we did on our trip. We are not scuba divers, so this was the next best thing. Don't waste your time on one of those big catamaran trips, this was so much better. The food was great, the drinks were cold, the snorkeling was awesome and the crew was top notch. When I go to Cozumel again, this will be the first thing we do! Thanks!!!!! Michele C.

“Best Day in Cozumel”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 11, 2013

We spent a week in Cozumel and we did all of the common tourist things during the week but the best day by far was the day on the sailboat with Dario and his son. They were very polite, spoke very good english and very accomodating. The snorkeling spots were different than larger crowded areas but much better quality. They offered plenty of drinks and the food was excellent. We had nine people and the cost of this trip was basically the same as on of the larger crowded catamaran trips. I strongly suggest you consider a trip with Dario and Cozumel Boat Trips.

“Looking forward to sailing again with Daurio”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 2, 2013

We have traveled to Cozumel twice a year for the past 5 years. Last April, we had a group of friends join us for our spring trip. As a little something special, we booked the sunset cruise. It was the perfect adventure. Daurio and his son were fantastic hosts. The sailing was a wonderful experience and was the perfect way to end a trip. We will be returning again this spring with a group of friends and will definitely book a snorkel/sailing trip.... This comes highly recommended!!!

“Come sail away.... You'll love it!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2012

My extended family of 12 knew that the last thing we wanted after being on a large cruise for several days was to be jammed on a smaller cruise in one of the ship's snorkel excursions. We elected to take our chances and go "off campus" for this adventure in Cozumel. It was a little nerve-wracking as some in the group were worried that we did not know Kim and Dario and we knew no one who had been on their boat. We went forward anyway and we were rewarded. This is a professionally run boat with a wonderfully personable feel. Kim was very easy to deal with and extremely organized. The kids in our family were welcomed and even invited to enjoy the boat in any way they imagined. At the same time, I felt the crew kept them very safe and was responsible. We all loved the snorkeling and especially the bread and cheese we had for lunch. It was truly a memorable day and I am so glad we decided to go out of the box... and into the beautiful blue Cozumel waters with such a wonderful team!

“Great for new snorkelers”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 26, 2012

My husband and I had a great time on this excursion. We were traveling on a cruise ship, but elected to make our own arrangements for an excursion, and chose this boat ride due to reviews online. Kim was very easy to work with making our arrangements via e-mail. 4 people were needed for the ride to happen, and she promptly notified me when another couple surfaced. The best part of the ride was stopping to snorkel twice and having excellent instructions which put us at ease. 3 of the 4 of us were new to snorkeling, but Kim made us feel comfortable, gave great directions and hands-on care, and we caught on quickly and had a great time seeing the beautiful fish at the reefs. It was nice to be with a small group, especially since we needed more assistance than seasoned snorkelers would have needed.
