My family came to the tequila tour from royal Caribbean freedom of the sea cruise ship. We took a private bus from the port and the driver brought us here . We are glad he did because we enjoyed the explanation of the tequila distillation from the agave . The tour was not elaborate and long, but our tour guide Sandra make it such a fun event. It was so much fun sampling the different Tequila.

Capitan Jose IS THE MAN!!!! After almost half our party of 16 got sick eating Iberostar food we GLADLY rented cars to eat somewhere else. Carlos at the jeep rental in Ibero recommended Casa Mission. The Pico and gaucomole are to die for!!!!We had to change my brother-in'laws name to Guaco since he EASILY ate 2lbs of guac over 2 visits! Capitan Jose hooked us up with the coldest Dos Equis Lagers south of Texas. The food in this place is SO GOOD, I will ride the ferry over from Playa just to eat the seafood platter again!!!! To top it off they have a FREE tequila tasting when you get done!!!

I was looking for something different than Pancho's, saw this place in trip advisor and decided to give it a go. Don't get me wrong, Pancho's is really good, but really pricey. I'm glad I made the choice. This place really is an old mission converted into a restaurant. Great ambiance without the price. The wait staff are effiecient but not pushy. We came on a Monday evening so not very crowded. If you're wanting to go later in the week, it wouldn't hurt to set reservations. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR, and put on mosquito spray before you arrive. The gardens are beautiful, but very close to most of the tables. And, in Cozumel, if it's tropical it's got mosquitos.

We love eating at Casa Mission. The grounds are beautiful and the food is great. Where else in the world can you get a filet and lobster for the equivalent of around 20 bucks? Their queso appetizer is awesome and certainly different from anything you get in Texas or anywhere in the US!
Staff are hardworking and are always coming by to make sure everything is great. When we ask bellhops or servers at all inclusives where they love to take their families for special occasions, they always say Casa Mission. If its good enough for the locals, its good enough for me!

On a recent stay in Cozumel, a dive operator who has taken groups diving in Cozumel for over 20 years recommended Casa Mission both for an excellent dining experience and the associated tequila tour. The restaurant is an old mission within a walled mini-estate of lush gardens, walks and fountains. Before dinner, we took a mini-tour showing how tequila is made and enjoyed tasting a number of types. The food was delicious and very reasonably priced, served in a covered patio setting, open to the gardens. We were also serenaded by a four-piece band performing lovely traditional Mexican songs. Service was very good, but not intrusive, and it was one of the best overall dining experiences we have had on vacation - the entire package. We would highly recommend it for a special night out. Although our hotel called and made reservations for us, being off-season there were plenty of tables available when we arrived. During high season, a reservation is probably best.
