We went here on the recommendation of our spearfishing guide Anibal. At first we were a little leery to go to a local place, but we decided to give it a chance and we were glad we did! We showed up with a bag of triggerfish and snapper at 3:00 in the afternoon. We ordered some beers while they were cooking the fish. First, they brought us some snacks-- tamales, nachos, squid salad, and chicken wings (included because we bought beer). Next, came the triggerfish ceviche which was excellent, lots of lime, cilantro, and red onion. Finally, they brought our main meal--the triggerfish prepared with butter and garlic along with rice, vegetables, and garlic bread. They also prepared the snapper whole and brought that out. We enjoyed this feast for about $40 USD for 4 people. What a bargain! Don't be afraid to try this local gem!
