“Beautiful, charming and delicious!!”
Reviewed April 2, 2014

I grew up between Italy and NYC, so my standards for Italian food are honestly quite high. Guido's offers an authentic selection of delectable dishes. The pizza is really excellent! I visited with a large group, so we were able to taste many plates, and the menu, across the board, was truly impressive. In addition to the wonderfully satisfying food, the service was attentive, friendly and warm-- consistent throughout the evening, even though the restaurant was very busy. Finally-- the cherry on top of the cake!-- Guido's is stunningly BEAUTIFUL!!! The garden dining room is filled with charm, a secret haven, furnished with custom-made chairs (very comfortable!), a most perfect place to enjoy a meal with family, friends, or a romantic companion. The atmosphere at Guido's is as close to perfect as you can expect, the care of the restaurant clearly in the hands of capable and committed management and staff. ENJOY!!!

“Wonderful Italian food.....”
Reviewed April 1, 2014

We ate here on our first night in Cozumel by recommendation of our property manager. We also looked at the reviews on TA and decided to give it a shot. WOW....What a meal. The ambiance, service, drinks, and food were all wonderful. The garlic bread is amazing. Don't hesitate to try this place. Not like your typical Italian at home.

“Great Woodfire Pizza”
Reviewed March 29, 2014

Our family all enjoyed woodfire pizza for supper here. Very similar to the pizza I've had in Italy. From the street, it looks like a small restaurant but it opens up into a beautiful outdoor courtyard. A fun addition to our Cozumel experience.

“Stick with the salads”
Reviewed March 28, 2014

The salads here are fantastic and very filling, but if you really crave good Italian this is not the place. The pastas were very thick and gooey so much that they stuck to your teeth. The tomato cream sauce was lacking in zest and was very similar to another companion's cream sauce. We left feeling not very fulfilled as to being satisfied with our meal

Thank you for your review which prompted me to quickly go back to our previous menu in which we specify our home made pasta dishes. Lobster carbonara, linguini fruti di mare, Ravioli with gratine mozzarella cheese, etc...
A couple months ago I set up the menu to a mix and match format for pastas and sauces. This obviously has not worked out since not all pastas combine well with all sauces.
Once again thank you for your input.
