“Terrific food”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

Unique garlic bread-definitely get it! Cheap at 30 pesos.
Delicious sangria! Best I've ever had anywhere. Go ahead and get a pitcher.
Homemade fettucini alfredo with scallops and shrimp was outstanding.
Felipe was our waiter and he helped us with our selections of the chef's specials that included a tuna dish and a swordfish dish. All seafood is fresh and if they never use frozen seafood.
Homemade ice cream for dessert included strawberry, coconut/Kahlua, and corn. Also a delicious creme brulee in vanilla or lemongrass that was raised on site.
Amazing place and gorgeous. Great ambiance. 6 adults ate full meals with drinks and dessert for $170-$185 US. At least go for the sangria!
We arrived at 6:30 and got right in, but it filled up quickly after that.

“Very authentic and environmentally sensitive operation”
Reviewed April 7, 2013

I had heard about this place from someone I know here at home. The food was superb. The service was exceptional. The atmosphere was to my way of thinking quite unique and enjoyable. They were not serving lobster as it was out of season and would have not been fresh as advertised if they had it on the menu or it would have been illegal. My highest reqards for this establishment. Thank you for an enjoyable evening and a fantastic meal.

“Excellent all-round!”
Reviewed April 5, 2013

Myself and my girlfriend ordered garlic bread, swordfish and the scallop risotto. All were beautifully cooked with some great accompanying sauces - full of flavour. In addition, the setting in the courtyard is terrific, while the waiters were all knowledgable and engaging. The following evening we ate the nearby Argentinian steakhouse, which didn't measure up to guidos. Can't believe that it's only #10 at the moment - highly recommended!

“Beautiful courtyard”

As you walk in to Guidos the wood fired oven stands out for its location center stage and the aroma. It is ambitious to use a wood fired oven but they pull it off. Our family enjoyed our Swiss style beef dinner, stuffed chicken and the ravioli. The yard is mesmerizing. We shared some sweet, house made sangria and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves on our families last night in Cozumel.
