“A true gem-again and again!”
Reviewed January 8, 2013

My uncle lives in Cozumel so we have to been to Guidos on several occasions! It is always scrumptious! The outdoor patio is lovely and the waitstaff are quick and attentive. My kids live for the octopus appetizer, garlic bread (which is really a sort of puffy tortilla smothered in a yummy garlic butter sauce), and the beef carpaccio! We have to order at least 2 of each for the 4 of us to start and even then my 14 year old son eats one of the octopus to himself!
The seafood entrees are always spot on. I have ordered and enjoyed the scallops on risotto many times. I've also had many of their specials of the day-worth getting.
We went there for New years eve and the service was still at a high level even with all of the partying going on. Will go back next time we are there for sure!

“It could do better”
Reviewed January 7, 2013

We paid them a visit after we had dinner at La Tienda Guido’s Delicatessan where we had an excellent meal. Our visit was a bit disappointing. It was busy and noisy and the food was not what we expected.

“Spur of the moment decision...”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

...which turned out great! We were told by a local about this restaurant. He said many goverment officials eat at this locale. We didn't have reservations but had to wait a relatively short period of time to be seated. While waiting to be seated you could plainly see that the wait staff worked like a well oiled machine. Very impressive. Ambience was lovely- lush overhanging garden, food was delicious and reasonably priced. Would definitely return if and when I visit Cozumel again.

“Both great places”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

Guido's has 2 establishments in Cozumel island. Both phenomenal choices, catered to different people/moments. One, a great deli offering a range of products including fresh, cold-cut baguettes to delicious omelets; from fresh juices to imported beer. A great choice for breakfast or brunch in a beautiful garden location. The second, an italian/mediterranean cuisine with some of the most delicious pizzas, pastas, deserts and a garlic bread to die for. Both, 'must-go' places in Cozumel.

“BEST ITALIAN IN COZUMEL”
Reviewed January 5, 2013

The food is excellent. We loved to dine on the outside terrace. The service is perfect they have a large staff of people very well trained and they are all very nice. We went there three times during our new year's vacation and the quality was consistent. Highly recommended!
