We couldn't find the spot we had planned to eat for authentic and creative local fare. There were many spots we should have stopped at around the market square, but we opted for Las Palmeras since it did have a prime spot in front of the water, ferry pier and pedestrian traffic. Make sure to get a table by the street side. The food was okay, but not great and the choices were limited. If you're looking for true Mexican dishes, not much here. They seem to cater to the broader tastes of traveling Americans.
