Over the course of 10 days we ate here twice. It is open on Sundays and was the reason we stopped here the first time.

The second time is because we liked it the first time. It is a bit expensive; we paid 350 pesos ($32US) for lunch. The food is very good. I had pork fajitas and my wife had the chicken special. Both are worth returning for.

The staff was very efficient and easy to get along with. Willing to chat a little but keeping things very professional.

It is an exceptionally clean open air restaurant with a roof to keep the rain off and provide much needed shade.

I will return when I get back to Cozumel. Definitely worth the stop.

Our go to place for inexpensive Mexican food. We live on the border (El Paso) so we know Mexican food. Service is a bit slow. This time, a little disappointed when some of our food was delivered cold.. (vegies part)

This is our 2nd time stopping in here. Again the food was great. The servers were very nice and polite. We make sure to try something different each time and haven't been disappointed yet. Can't wait to stop in again. (our cost for 2 was around ~$35)

I was underwhelmed with the yellow dip they serve. The meal was okay. This was probably the busiest restaurant we visited during our week on the island.

We love the way la Choza prepares garlic fish (especially red snapper), and my husband is especially fond of the way they prepare fish with their special mustard sauce. We often go to La Choza for a great breakfast Mexican style, and dinners are always made even more special by their delicious soups.
