“Viva Mexico”
Reviewed May 7, 2013

Of all the ruins this one impressed me the most.As an amateur astronomer this was my "Holy Grail". The sheer genius it took not only to construct but use with such accuracy an observatory with out visual aides is just incredible. These sites need days to absorb. If you are on your own at least make a full day of it. First time visitors be mindful of the suns power. Bring a good hat sunscreen and plenty of water. We like to visit late April crowds are small and the tours clear out quick. If you are staying in Cancun the hotel can arrange a day trip which are quite good, all inclusive luxury coach recommended.

“Star gazing”
Reviewed March 29, 2013

This is where we spent a lot of our time as well. I married a scientist so the site had a definite "draw" for him. Please stay off the stairs unlike many tourists that we saw dashing up and down trying not to get caught. Have some respect.
