Amazing experience. Ask the local guides to demonstrate the sounds and the Maya Calendar. See the snake, when the sun is in the right place.

It's amazing and completely deserves its status as one of the new Seven Wonders of the World. Don't miss it if you get the opportunity to visit. It's best to go on a tour with a guide. We went with Tui from Playa del Carmen with an excellent guide called Eric, and got far more out of it than we would have done if just going round on our own. Our tour arrived just after the site had opened - definitely recommend this so you can get great photos without the crowds.

Chichen Itza covers a big area and there is more to see on the site, including the huge ball court, platform of the skulls and temple of warriors.

Magical, and the guide made it more impresive, showing knowledge and having a lot of patience with all members of our goup. From 5 years old to 79 years old

5 star to Meli. Highly recommended. Spanish, English and very soon French.

Thank you Meli for improving our experience and Chichen Itza.

This is a special building and even after dedicating a day to the heritage site, there is so much more to learn. A serpent crawls up the stairs during the equinox. Humans may no longer climb the stairs. On any given day, you can stand in a particular spot and make a rather loud echo. This ruin can be so much more than a history lesson.

We went here today from Cancun. Early start but well worth it, about 2 hours to get there. We were on a tour and had a great guide who filled us in with lots of information about all the buildings. Thankfully it was cloudy as there is hardly any shade. Our tour lasted about an hour then we had an hour on our own. The place is vast and you could be there for a long time. It was very busy when we lest at about 10am.
