The atmosphere is pleasant and the service was excellent and perhaps we should have ordered a shellfish dish, but my wife and I were in the mood for fish so we both ordered grouper prepared different ways,
I tried the broiled option. The fish did not appear to be seasoned and was really tasteless. The standard side on these dishes is a pasta, but I am gluten-free and unfortunately there was no potato or rice option as an alternate side. The waiter offered vegetables, which turned out to be a thinly sliced, oily quarter of a red pepper and a single broccoli floret. The only other thing on the plate were 3 rosets of a "spinach puree" which apparently is mashed spinach mixed with flour and squeezed through a pastry pipe bag. I couldn't eat these because of the flour but my wife tried them and said they had no taste.
She tried the grouper "lightly battered" and expected a nice crispy crust, but the crust was just a soggy coating. She did get the side of linguine with hers but took a few bites and left the rest as it just did not taste good.
