When we arrived the room was different than the one shown in pictures, though when we discussed this with Michelle she was very understanding and able to move us to a different (much better) room. Michelle is really helpful, knowledgeable about the area, and accommodating to your needs - she wants you to have a great vacation and it shows! We would definitely go back!
Pros:
The beach is amazing
The ocean views and private balconies are great
The lodging is on an easy bus route, so close to everything
Cons:
Bring your own (extra) beach towels- they typically only provide one beach towel for a week-long-stay, which is not enough
Just do yourself a favor and skip the restaurant on site!

So great! mice cozy condo.. great view..pool closes at 8.. but pool bar at 12.. Michelle is great.. i recomend the Galleleon, and burger place next to OXXO.. called 19.5 or somethong like that.. DO NOT RECOMMEND THE BLUE GHECKO.. TERRIBBLE FOOD!.. Great stay at Solymar.. i want to go back in 2019!

The condo (#1610 in Solymar resort) has a million-dollar view with a nice balcony, in the resort which is right on the beach. Michelle is a pleasure to deal with, has great recommendations and knowledge of the local area, and is very responsive and flexible. The condo rental is excellent value for the money. As all the other reviewers say, if you need something, just ask Michelle and she will do anything that she can to assist you.
