Awesome staff and service. Food was amazing. Other guests were loud and obnoxious. Not all but a few made the stay uncomfortable at times. Language, Tatoo's, Piercings. Too much to drink. Bad manners in restaurants. Loud music after 9PM while trying to sleep.

First time at the Zilara, October 8-15, 2019.
Friends getaway....2 youthful low key gals in their mid 40’s. Went for rest and relaxation, sunbathing and eating lol!
Lots of pros to this place. I like that it was adults only, but could have done without the excessively drunk adults. Wasn’t crowded during the week days which gave a quiet and peaceful atmosphere. However lots of weekend visitors flock in for the Friday foam pool party then leave on Sunday. It was fun to watch. A nice variety of nightly entertainment.
Also the on-duty lifeguard is great! He actually had to rescue me out of a rip current. Watch the red flags!
I have visited Cancun many times and stayed at a variety of places. This one will go in my top 3.
Hotel staff was above par! Friendly, helpful, professional and always smiling! It was such a pleasure to see our servers David, Luis, Fabian, Cesar, Carlos and many others throughout the week!
Overall I thought the hotel was beautiful and the accommodations were very comfortable. We had an ocean view room on the top floor, everything was clean and well maintained. Our housekeeper Inez kept our room well stocked! The resort is easy to navigate, love the open air feel. Dining areas are all kept cool so you can enjoy your meal without sweating to death. Gorgeous ocean views all around. Delicious food, buffet was outstanding and I thought the desserts were exceptional. The Asiana restaurant was spectacular and entertaining and I highly recommend reserving a seat for the Hibachi dinner!

Brand new gym was amazing! Wow!

Not many cons but be aware this resort allows smoking. Bed comfort is average but loved my soft pillows. Also there was some construction next door but issue was resolved swiftly.

Overall I had a really nice stay here and would definitely return to the Zilara.

This review is really late (like a year late haha) Food was great, service was equally as good. Room tip: book a higher floor for better view(although all are oceanfront) we enjoyed being up higher(less noisy) Only negative is the chairs were usually all "reserved" and especially cabanas. Gotta wake up early to score some. Or pay to reserve which people did for free by leaving their crap and ditching even though they weren't supposed to. We also really enjoyed the spa. Definitely put it on the to-do list. We will be back!

This hotel was amazing. I highly recommend it. This was my first trip to Mexico and I will definitely be coming back. The staff were so friendly and welcoming. They knew our names and learned our preferences. They were always there to help with a smile on their face. The way I was treated made me feel like a princess. The hotel is beautiful and had everything we needed. I absolutely loved it at Hyatt Zilara!!

This was our 12th trip to the Hyatt Zilara. That in itself should validate our excellent rating. Everything was exceptional. Some construction was going on which did not affect our stay and is a sign they continually upgrade the property. The staff is the biggest asset. Lillian and Laura in Concierge, Ligia and Eloisa in lounge, the entire staff in both entertainment and coffee shop and Arturo and Ulier in Spice restaurant all made our stay memorable. Managers - Daniel, Carlos, Carlos, Luis and Angy were attentive to all questions. If you go here, and I strongly urge you to, these people and phenomenal. The property is immaculate and rooms offer spectacular views.
