Beautiful Museum of Mayan culture. Great exhibits (although some are reproductions - the originals are at the actual sites). Well worth a visit. Bring peso's for the entrance fee.

Close to the Royal Sands and the admission price is very reasonable (about $5 a person). We loved seeing the Mayan artifacts; however, most of the descriptions were in Spanish. Nice walk through the archeological site to see some ruins up close.

This was a nice visit for a few hours. The displays are well laid out, but be aware not much signage in English. (Not complaining, just an FYI). The ruins on the grounds are pretty amazing, considering all the modern buildings around it. Also, they only accept Pesos, so be prepared.

Well arranged, excellent displays. Walk through the jungle was interesting. It is hard to believe that so many ruins were right there by our resort.

Take a local bus cost 8.5 Mexican pesos from the hotel each way, the ticket is 57 pesos each person. Very well kept, nice stroll through the archeological site and very nice (small museum).
