“Excellent!!”

If you have never had pizza cooked in a coal fired oven, then you really need to try this. It's different than cooking with wood. The coal gets hotter, and it makes the perfect crust. Combine that with the the wonderful ingredientst this restaurant has to offer, and you get one fantastic pizza. We ordered three small pizzas (the godfather, the barbecue pizza, and another chicken one) and they delivered them to our hotel (Royal Sands) several miles away. All three pizza were quite large, and the total bill was only 286 pesos. We absolutely loved the thin crust, the sauce and all the toppings. The only downside is that I can't get this pizza back home. :(

“Big Time for Big Eaters”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 21, 2013

My brother who weighs 450 pounds and I went over there for a late night snack after hitting a few bars.
He ordered the seafood pizza, the pepperoni pizza with extra cheese, and the meat lovers pizza with extra cheese and meats. All extra large size. The price was great 250 pesos each (approx) and my bro gobbled them all up with several of local beer they offered. He was still hungry so he topped it off with the deluxe panzerotti to go which he ate on the street on the way to the hotel.
All in all, great value, great tasting and a lot of food for big eaters. Make sure to stop in when In Cancun for great tasting pizza! You can't go wrong.

“eating here is a must!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 15, 2013

This little place was just around the corner from our hotel, we decided to eat there one evening as we were tired and didn't want to venture too far. We enjoyed it so much we ended up eating there three times during our two week holiday. The food is fresh, tasty and very filling. It is adjoined to another restaurant called Sushi Hero and you can order between the two menus. The first night I had their Pad Thai bowl and my partner had their bbq chicken pizza. We ordered sides of sweet potato fries with alioli and cheesy garlic bread. We also tried the Thai yellow coconut curry, spaghetti bolognese, lasagne and a chicken dish (the name escapes me). We were never disappointed, the food always came hot and full of flavour, the staff are very friendly and it;s excellent value for money (2x mains, 2x starters & 2x drinks and our bill never exceeded 380 peso excluding tip!) This place is a gem!

“All time favorite pizza!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed May 15, 2013 via mobile

Padrinos makes fresh & incredibly delicious pizzas all on a very thin crust. They use a wood fired pizza oven. Our favorite pizza is the BBQ chicken (we always ask for extra chicken because we find the regular portion just isn't enough). They have quite a few "gourmet" options. The pizzeria is located in a quieter part of the hotel zone & also has free wifi. They do deliver but don't have enough delivery guys so wait times vary (on a busy night we waited more than an hour and a half!). It's better to eat on their patio or pick up if possible. Padrinos is definitely worth it!!!
