Beautiful!!!!! I did love it!!! Very nice, clean place. Beautiful beach. Only one problem if you are going with excursion that you have to sit in bus for too long till they collect all people from a lot hotels and then you spend not enough time in Tulum. Much better to rent the car or to go with excursion company what goes by small buses like 7 seat. Would go back 100 %

the entrance to Tulum was through a small village which was filled with litter and smelled horrible. Something should be done to clean this up. I'd visited Tulum 30 years ago and this trip was somewhat a disappointment. The country is doing what they can to preserve the site, but allowing thousands of tourists to climb down a stairway to the ocean can't be a good thing. The tour group we choose DREAM TRAVEL was a disaster.

I went to Tulum as part of an excursion organised by Amstar, be aware there is a bus from the entrance to the attraction or its a 10 min walk. The only toilets are at the entrance, so pee before you make your way to the ruins! The iguanas roamed freely about and were basking on the ruins. Amazing. Scenery was breathtaking. Shame the small beach area was closed the day we went but the 40 mins after our guide had finished explaining the history left us just enough time to walk the path around and head back to the bus. We also missed that the exit is off the other side of the site to where you come in, nearly missed the bus back after having to dash across the site again!

The ruins and the beach were beautiful. We took the boat tour and went snorkeling. The weather was perfect. Would go back again.
