This restaurant is a gem out of the Hotel Zone! We were there for the first time in April with friends and then again May 1st. just the two of us! Arrive early for a late lunch or early supper! It is very busy with local families, couples and friends! I believe we may have been the only couple who's Spanish is very limited! But we made out fine with ordering. Have their local drink Michelada, we had their platter of fish, whole or fillet of Snapper and 2 kinds of shrimp, meaning you get to pick the seasoning, Garlic butter, Cream, or very hot Diablo! I almost do not want to tell to many tourists about this place, this restaurant's business is booming without the tourists! Locals love it! And we did too! First time there we we took the R2 bus and then got off and took a $3.00 taxi, this time we took the R2 N. Heroes which took us within 100 ft of the restaurant. It is not a gourmet restaurant but if you want to truly feel a part of Mexico it is worth the exciting visit! Live Music, Food, Drinks so much energy it is overflowing! Remember to bring your pesos, cash only. Best time to go is before 4 PM, as it closes around 7.
