“Great getaway from Hotel zone”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed December 16, 2013

It was so nice to get away from the hotel and relax with great food and service. It is right on the beach. The waiter spoke English and was able to help us choose a great meal. The seafood was fresh and tasty. We came in after dark and the outside is not very well lit so we were a little nervous about trying the place out. So glad we did.

“freshest seafood ,on the beach, great view of Isla Mujeres”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 21, 2013

Went with my wife and mother. the wait staff was very attentive, but not hovering. We found the seafood to be the freshest around. I got the mixed grill, which would have been more than enough for 2. We have been coming to this hidden gem since the 80's, and are thrilled to find it here for us once again! We'll return as long as they are there!

“Great food!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 20, 2013 via mobile

It's away from the hustle and bustle of the hotel zone and caters to more locals!! The service was great, in both English and Spanish!! Kicked off with some octopus and shrimp ceviche and boom delicious!! My main course was a gigantic lobster tail, rice and fried banana, it was fantastic!!! Ended things with a expresso and brandy drink, great ending to a wonderful dinner!!

“Flamingos”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed November 19, 2012

This restaurant is far north on the point, so far that you probably think you've missed it. It's a quiet place where the locals go and you can look out at the dock where small fishing boats are tying up. A lobster shish kabob was 210 pesos although there are some cheaper choices, or you can have a Mexican beer or two.
