Owner description: The only TPC Licenced property located outside of the United States, TPC Cancun at Cancun Country Club is the new standard of excellence in Latin America. Attention to detail, world-class service and amenities, and a professional, friendly staff-the hallmarks of private golf clubs throughout the world, until now. TPC Cancun provides a private club experience to each and every guest. Environmental awareness was integral to the design and development of TPC Cancun. Special care was taken with sensitive flora and fauna indigenous to the region, while designer Nick Price incorporated naturally occurring water features and elevation changes into his world-class creation. The course boasts wall-to-wall Platinum Paspalum, the Cadillac of grass in this region, as well as 84 bunkers and 5 lakes. Mr. Price succeeded in creating within each hole a challenge for golfers of all abilities. Located just minutes from the main Hotel Zone, Cancun International Airport and 25 minutes from Playa Del Carmen, playing the course is as convenient as it is memorable. TPC Cancun, the new standard of excellence in Latin America.

“Tpc in mexico”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed October 24, 2012 via mobile

A great view since you practice until you finish your 18 hole, quiet, calm, great design and the perfect mexican caribbean scenario, be aware that the weather is very hot and humid from may to october so be there very early or very late. Enjoy and relax in the only tpc course in mexico.

Thank teobalin

“A tough track especially when the wind is blowing...”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed August 27, 2012

This is not a weekend hackers golf course but a real challenge to make good shots on every hole. if you keep the ball in play you are rewarded, but poor shots make for a long day. Excellent conditions and a great layout but tough on a windy day for sure.

Typical Nick Price design: long and forgiving! Played from tips at 7480 yards. Course in fantastic condition. Staff was A+. Must play when in Cancun!

“The first 18 holes are open!!!”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed July 14, 2012

The first 18 holes are open, the Nick Price design couse, While there is still some working being done on a few holes, all are playable. The course has wide farways. and well layed out water features and bunkers. It is a beautiful course. TPC course with the addition 18 hole is under construction but looks Amazing!!!!! We have played many golf courses in the area and this one is going to be one of the best. We really enjoyed our game. Everyone was so nice, from the women at the club house to the cart girls, they were all great!!! We were greeted at the parking lot by a gentelmen that made us feel like we were coming to our home course. We were then met by One of the course managers, Armando. Great man!. He is so proud of his course..You can tell he loves his Job. One of the nices thing was when i was adressed by my name, I had taken golf lessons about a year ago by a wonderful pro in Akumal. And now he is one of the Course managers also...I am so sorry i can spell his name i always called him the " Golf whisper" ..Just loved him. The couse is beautiful but one of the best part is the outstanding staff, great Job everyone!!!! You can have the most beautiful course in the world but unless you have the staff it won't matter, this course had both...We will be back!

“Gonna be great”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed June 29, 2012

I played TPC Cancun (Nick Price) on June 28 2012. I paid 119 USD (transportation, range balls and unlimited bottled water included). They are going through a very soft opening with a nice, but small, temporary pro shop and grill. The cart staging area is fine but also temporary. The practice area is very nice with a huge driving range. Unfortunately the greens were recently aerated when I played so they were in bad shape. They should be back to 100% in a week or two.

There is an amazing Par 3 you spot as you drive into the facility, and that is part of the unopened Fazio course. It does look amazing. This Par 3 is cut into a huge body of water surrounded by what appears to be a blasted quarry of some sort. Fazio is my favorite designer so I can't wait for it to open. They said Fazio will open in 12-18 months--but the entire Cancun Country Club project has taken soooo long already who know if that is accurate. I saw one home on the course and comparing the "master plan" model in the pro shop to what I actually saw there is a long way to go before this place is done (meaning 2 courses, houses, restaurants, etc).

Back to the Price course. It is LONG (7400 from tips, 7100 from Golds, almost 6800 from Blues). There is well placed bunkering throughout the course and the fairways are very very wide so you can miss it a little. The course is in excellent shape (except for the greens as mentioned above--but they'll be good is a few weeks). The staff was great and all speak great english. TPC plus Riveria Cancun is a good 1-2 punch for golf down by the airport. TPC Cancun is filled out enough that even though its a soft opening I can still recommend it.
