“Best Vacation Ever!!!”

The total experience on the hotel was just fantastic. All staffs were friendly not to mention the splendid luxuriousness of the hotel. Food was great, Lunch could have been little bit more variety every day but was delicious. Breakfast was out of the world. All fine dining restaurants were top notch. Booking was easy. Internet was great in rooms and free. I was only asked once to buy timeshare and then never bothered. The pool was great and the pool bar was fantastic. No one expected a tip but please do tip. I would highly highly recommend this place to anyone. I did not try the SPA hence can't give my opinion on that.

Room Tip: Don't pay extra for Royal service, not worth it, but please pay extra to get Ocean view, its fan...

This was our first time here and enjoyed it very much. Starting at the beginning - we used the hotel shuttle (Tropical Incentives). Good value & they were waiting for us when we walked out of the airport. Check in was a breeze. No waiting. First room they gave us was ground floor, asked to be switched - no problem, they handled it right away. We are vegetarian so normally eating at all-inclusives tends to have mostly meat options and we have to ask for special adjustments. This buffet was great. Food was very fresh. Happy with the options. We only went to 2 restaurants - Vento and Bana. Waiters were great at both restaurants. Told them we were vegetarian and they looked after our meal for us. Wonderful service! Beach was FANTASTIC! Never had a problem getting a palapa and we usually got to the beach around 10am. Sometimes had to look for chairs but it wasn't a big deal. Drink service on the beach but not food service, however, you can go to the poolside snack bar, get your food and bring it to the beach. If you book a room with a pull out sofa, be prepared to ask them for a cot. The mattress on the pullout was very thin & looked extremely uncomfortable. Shuttle to leave was right on time. Have to mention Jesus Arzeta and Jorge Martinez De Naos Auw who work as servers in the buffet. Very friendly and wonderful service. Can't say enough about how great the staff is here. Highly recommend this resort. We would go back! Thank you Paradisus for a great vacation!

Spent 1 week at this fabulous resort in bldg 2. Great location. Far enough away from the noise, but close to the "action". Rooms are large. Had lagoon view. Why spend extra on ocean view when you can see the ocean while on the beach.
Adults atmosphere. Not a party place. Take bus to town for night life. 20pesos for 2 one way. Avenue bar host great shows in evening. Michael Jackson show is sensational. The "circle de soleil" inspired show also great. Come early for a seat otherwise you may have obstructed view. Lounge staff are very attentive especially server Karina and bartender Israel. Mole restaurant was delicious. Waiter Jose and hostess Sonia were pleasant and helpful in assisting us with our menu options.
Beach and pool areas are very clean. Many servers in both areas. Lots of loungers. If towels kept on loungers for a longer time without personal itmes, staff would collect to provide space for other guests. Gym gets busy in the mornings.
Fabulous time. Enjoy!!

I was very impressed with the hotel. I am not sure if we had a really good deal but I think the amenities provided for the price paid were great. The service was incredible. Very sweet and helpful and hard working people. Great beach and pool, good food, and I loved having so many restaurants to choose from. I would recommend to anyone.

We have just returned from a great holiday at Paradisus. Our check-in was done quickly and we were promptly assigned our room. Prior to our arrival, I was advised that we might consider the Royal Service, to ask for top floors, to go to the adult only tower, not to stay in tower three because of the noise but decided against all the warnings. We found ourselves in tower three where all the activities were held and where the majority of restaurants were housed. The noise level quieted down around ten o'clock and we had a great stay with all the conveniences at hand. The staff, right across the board, from the room maids, the restaurant and bar people; all were most pleasant and always very polite. Additionally, we were impressed by the presentation and quality of food in all the restaurants.
Although entering the main atrium was very impressive with its restaurants, shops, etc., it would be important to note that the rooms though clean and comfortable would need a bit of refreshing, not that this deterred in any away from our having a great holiday.
The location of the hotel is perfect and safe. Just a short bus ride to shopping centers and perfect for long strolls along the ocean front.
The only thing I disliked over my ten day sojourn was the vying with other patrons for beach or pool chairs. The only way around this was to place towels on chairs at six o'clock in the morning. Might I challenge the hotel to find a solution to this situation, making it more pleasant for all patrons.
Salutations to Antonio at the buffet, to Diego our waiter, Mario the manager and Francisco our bartender at Ibana, Rody-Leo at Mole& Tacos.

My husband and I stayed there in February and we had a great time. The staff treated us like royalty. The hotel is beautiful. The hotel always smelled really good. The food was wonderful. We really enjoyed the all you can eat dinning. I have stayed in other all inclusive hotel but this hotel was the best. The waiter Jesus and concierge women name Bianica was wonderful. My only concern was the room. JR suite was okay. .

We spent last week at Paradisus, formerly known as the Gran Melia, in Cancun. I was pleasantly surprised by the transformation. When we had stayed in past I found the service to be below par of other comparable resorts in area where we had stayed before, also found the food/restaurant selection to be severely lacking, but not this time. From the minute you walked in front door you could feel the difference, the way in which they met you at door with warm/damp towels to refresh face, to the easy check in process. And loved the updated number of restaurants and the fact that they added varying live entertainment in the Avenue Bar. Favorite is still Coccoa's bar at end of day, amazing view. Staff and management were great to us, went out of way to help with a few small things we needed help with (thanks again Fred!). Would recommend going back to anyone looking for a nice time, good value, beautiful beach.

Room Tip: Higher floors obviously have better view of ocean, but even from 3rd floor had a very nice view, wit...
