We took our family for the first time to Cancun. Our reservations were made eleven months in advance. Our hotel was suppose to be at the Ocean Spa Hotel, however, upon arriving we were told that our reservation was for 2012. I could not believe that. Who would book two years in advance. In short, the front desk did not want anyone to hear my complaints, thus, they sent us to the Laguna Suites. Once we arrived there things begin to change. These people at this location really care about their customers.
We enjoyed five days at this location. It is a smaller resort, however you can get transportation to many other resorts in the area and spend time at those locations.
The food was great. Also, I'm glad Ocean Spa messed up our reservations as everone we talked to told us we were better off where we stayed.
