I will start with the food. Being from Los Angeles, there are many good Thai Restaurants to compare (Jitlada being the best) so I feel confident in saying that the food at Thai Lounge in Cancun is surprisingly good for a Thai Restaurant in Mexico. I had the Tom Kah soup with chicken which I thought was excellent although the portion size was a little small. The Green Curry with soft Tofu was good but not spicy enough. I had the lamb chops which might have been the best lamb chops I've had in years. But the real treat at this restaurant was the private table that juts out over the water. It's a wonderful setting. You must request one of these tables when you make the reservation. This was my favorite meal of the trip!
