Description: Experience the delicious tastes of Mexican coffee and chocolate, direct from the plantation. In Ah Cacao, coffee, chocolate and vanilla are presented in all their mouth watering forms, from artisanal coffee drinks by skilled baristi, to soft, succulent, brownies baked daily. They even have have a range of chocolate body care products - you have to try the chocolate shampoo! And if you're concerned about your health, check out the cacao products with no added sweeteners. These give you all of the health benefits of cacao (antioxidants that fight aging, blood pressure reduction, increased mental acuity, etc.) without any sugar or artificial sweeteners. Best of all, thanks their fine-flavor criollo-type cacao, they taste great. The ancient Maya knew that cacao was something special when they began cultivating it thousands of years ago and you can enjoy their gift today at Ah Cacao. Don't forget to buy for your friends, family and pantry back home!

I dream of Ah Cacao when I was back home in the states.
I had a brownie and a mocha coffee and took chocolate bars home.
It's very rich so don't be surprised. We heard some people scoff at the richness. It's pure chocolate, come on!
So good!!!
Free wifi too so nice to check in with the fam while sipping coffee.

The resort is all inclusive but I would still make the walk and pay the fee for a mocha grande. Throw in a little Baileys and your off to a good start on a vacation day.

Great place! Excellent customer service, very tasty drinks and so much better than any american 'chain' options. When in Mexico, I much prefer to go for the local flavors. The espresso was so tasty and the frappe drinks were perfectly balanced, not too sweet and they didn't taste artificial. I highly recommend choosing this place over any other chains at La Isla.

This is a local coffee and chocolate place with several shops in Playa del Carmen. Their coffee is really good mexican coffee, and their mayan chocolate is just superb. Prices are a bit high but worth it.

My BF and I went there and tried their Hazelnut ice cream & coconut ice cream... Delicate flavor, fresh piece of coconut in it... Haven in a spoon after a sunny day in Cancun!
