This is a good place to stay a couple of nights after arriving in Cancun airport if you want to avoid the large concrete-stuffed area called Zona Hotelara. This small hotel is clean and quiet, the rooms are large though and priceworthy.

stayed here two nights before travelling to merida, liked it so booked my last night stay on return to cancun for flight next day, took ado coach from airport and took taxi that was short drive to hotel, excellent wifi connection large flat screen tv, super clean room and great for the price, restaurants and walmart across the road, friendly service. nice bar next door with live music.

Spent 2 nights here and really enjoyed our stay. Our room was spacious and immaculate - we had a separate sitting area that was comfortable. There is good lighting for reading and an excellent wifi signal. The shower in the updated bathroom is large and there is even a magnifying mirror. We enjoyed the lovely courtyard and lounging around the pool. We had our breakfast in the courtyard and found the food delicious. We found the staff friendly and helpful - good restaurant suggestions and lots of info on getting around. Would definitely stay here again.

I can see why the hotel got such rave reviews from Booking.com customers. It was attractively priced for the size and quality of the room. Other nice touches: free fast Internet and a mini-fridge. The price didn't include breakfast but we picked up some food at Walmart and stored it in the fridge.

Still, I can't recommend the hotel because it failed at the most basic requirement I have for a hotel: a quiet place to sleep. On a Friday night, we could hear a band somewhere off-property playing classic rock LOUDLY starting at 11 pm and going continuously until after 2 am. It was so loud that headphones and melatonin were ineffective at suppressing the noise. It was so loud that it felt like the band was playing in our room. It's not the hotel's fault that it has noisy neighbors (and there are plenty of other places with the same problem around Cancun), but it still affects my willingness to go there. Street noise from passing cars and upstairs neighbors walking with heels on the tile floor also interfered with our sleep.

Plus, downtown Cancun is an uninspired location--not exactly sketchy, but not compelling in the least.

Room Tip: Upstairs and away from the street might help with the noise

Charming boutique hotel in downtown Cancun, not too far from the ADO bus terminal, a 30 pesos cab ride. Also near supermarket and good restaurants are within 10 minutes walk. The hotel is very clean and modernly furnished, not high-end, but not pretty decent. Large walk-in shower with hot water and good water pressure. The staff is very nice and helpful.
