“Convenient and Close to Cancun Airport”
Reviewed October 27, 2013

Very clean and contemporary rooms. AC worked, had the tasty Chicken fajitas and ordered the guacamole served with queso fresca and greasy chips. The business centre is down however they offered to print off anything from my laptop by sending the documents in care of their front desk reception.

What they failed to mention is that they are charging 5 peso per page to print anything out. This resulted in over US $7.00 to print out boarding passes and itineraries.

With the thin windows, you will hear the highway traffic that is directly in front of the hotel so bring earplugs if you are a lite sleeper. Staff overall was friendly,

The airport shuttle leaves on the hour even at 4:00 am for a 6:40 am flight.

This hotel was chosen as it's close to the airport and we didn't want to be driving with jet lag. Certainly no frills here, transfer good once we had managed to phone the hotel. Rooms OK, if your tired you will sleep! Didnt try the restaurant but there is always the option of Burger King at the petrol station. Breakfast buffet ok and you can order eggs at extra cost. Transfer back to car hire company a lot smoother than expected.

Stayed here between flights. Staff were helpful in answering questions via email prior to stay. Shuttle was there waiting for me after my flight. The room was spacious, modern and spotless. Staff in reception were friendly and the dinner was good also. Stayed here by myself and it was perfect, close to airport with reliable shuttle.

If you're stuck spending the night at the airport, then the Comfort Inn is a good choice. It's nothing fancy, just your basic room with 2 double beds, but it's very clean and comfortable. They have a free shuttle service, free internet and a free continental breakfast in the morning. There's also a Burger King within walking distance, but not much else. The t.v. is flat screen and the beds are comfortable. Only draw back is that the rooms are not sound proof and there is considerable noise. A good pair of ear plugs and this is a perfect place to stay. Just take your expectations down a notch and you'll enjoy a comfortable night sleep.

Room Tip: Ask for the back side; less traffic noise!

Hotel was great, staff very friendly & helpful... Parking garage~very tight exit, wasn't sure I was gonna get out, lots of paint on the walls where others scraped the walls... Other than that was a great place...for my purpose, catching early morning flight..

The Air Con worked great in this hotel, albeit with a noisy fan. Even with the fan, though, it would not keep out the noises of the guests in the lobby, people stomping above and scraping chairs across the floors. I think the beautiful tile made sounds louder. Great bed. I recommend using the hot tub on the roof. Give them time to get it hot though.

Room Tip: Do not get 202. I heard every noise in the lobby.

As mentioned by others, the great deal here is that the hotel is located about 5 minutes from the Cancún Airport, and it offers a free shuttle there every hour (so you'l save the 40 bucks cab from the Cancún tourist traps, and feel safer with your lugagge too).

The rooms are very basic, but found clean and ample beds, a nice bathroom with shower (my room did not have a bathtub), cable TV, free Wi Fi, safebox and a large closet. The windows only let you look at warehouses, and you can see the highway which is nice, but nothing breathtaking. The A/C unit worked fine, but it makes some noise.

Staff was very helpful and friendly, and so was the waiter at the tiny restaurant. Perhaps it is more like a cafeteria, as the menu is very limited, and not especially appetizing, but you can relax for a moment with a cold beer, and that's a plus. Breakfast was really austere, with only ham, some cheese, fruit, yogurt and cereal. Even eggs were absent and in high traffic season, some dishes are unavailable. Be aware you won't have much choices around, as only a Burger King is within walking distance.

The hotel is very isolated, nothing to see if you walk around it (unless you really like warehouses), but is modern and has an ample lobby at every level, so it's well illuminated and you can see far from the upper floors. In the rooftop, there seemed to be an unused whirlpool and a nice bar, but I was there on a saturday and it seemed like no one had used these facilities for a long, long time. A pity, though. The sun was scorching there, as there weren't chairs or tables.

Regarding the patrons, well, this is a hotel on the cheap side, so expect all types of folks around, very noisy as some have commented, and one of my travel companions had to request a change of rooms due to the reeking smell of tobacco in it, so it seems smoking policies are not enforced. I myself had no problems, and the staff was quick to solve it for him.

So, in the end, this is not your hotel for endulging yourself, but the convenience of being close to the airport, the helpful staff, and clean ample rooms, plus the safety of the hotel shuttle, really makes it shine. Great for one night stays.

Room Tip: The rooms ending in '19' (319, 419...) are isolated from the rest of the floor by the elevat...
