We took bus #R2 from the hotel zone and got off at the first large round about and walked two blocks to this restaurant. The restaurant is quaint, with a charming little bar, an intimate setting and interesting art work. The staff was friendly and attentive; the service is outstanding. After ordering drinks, Peter came out and greeted us and took our order. WOW! I have never received such attention at a restaurant before and been greeted by the owner/head chef. The salmon was divine, so good, my husband ate half of mine when he was finished with his meal. After dinner we ordered dessert which was also unique and delicious. (Try the poached pear with camembert.) Just as we finished our meal, we got caught in the rain (do you like pina coloadas? ha ha), and Peter came out from the kitchen again to chat and help us pass the time as we waited for a break. The restaurant also hailed a cab for us, in case we didn't want to take the bus back. What a lovely experience all around for our last night in cancun.
