“Great Vacation”

This is my 20th year going to The Royal Resorts. The staff is always welcoming and accommodating. It's ice going back and having the same folks remember you year after year. The service in the restaurants is so much better than it's sister property, The Royal Sands, due to the maturity of the servers and also the fact that they do not offer all inclusivity at this particular resort. Although the age of the Resort is starting to show, it is well maintained and very clean. The Breakfast Buffet sure is expensive!

This was my first time staying here as we are members of the Royal Mayan next door. The staff, grounds, food and drink were all five star. I thought the bed was very comfortable and liked the villas decor. Very large balcony overlooking the ocean was magnificent. Thank you Royal Resorts for another great vacation experience.

I exchanged my timeshare with this resort and am so glad I did. I had a wonderful week. The staff is genuinely friendly and accommodating. I like that the entire resort is very clean, a big thing for me, not a spec of dust or dirt anywhere. The beach is gorgeous and well kept. I had a personal concierge, as everyone in the resort does, who helped with my requests. There is a supermarket on the premises very handy for supplies, a shuttle bus to take me to the sister resorts for other restaurants and spa services and a travel service that books tours around Cancun. There is a marina, restaurant and car rental across from the hotel as well. I was solo on this trip but it was definitely a family oriented resort.

Room Tip: All rooms face the water so I don't think there are any bad rooms.

Most rooms have a view of the sea. The room was clean and the staff were friendly and polite. The service was very good. The staff went out of their way to help whenever possible. The hotel has a shuttle service to their sister properties which makes dining at the restaurants in the sister properties convenient. Food at their restaurants was good and the staff tried to accommodate requests. Overall great experience.

We absolutely loved this resort. Everyone there made us feel like royalty. The room was amazing. The view was gorgeous. Everything you need was right there at the resort or you can take the free bus to a sister resort. If that isn't enough you have your own concierge who will make arrangements for you to do whatever else (in the area) that your heart desires. Only problem is, I don't know if any place we go in the future can top this experience

Room Tip: We stayed in the D part, 9th floor.

Fun for people of all ages. The Villa has 2 bedrooms 2 full bathrooms, livingroom and a fully stocked kitchen and will sleep 6 people. There are 3TV's, so everyone can watch what they want. Shuttle service to other Royal Resorts and their restaurants is FREE. Beautiful ocean views with a large balcony to either eat lunch/dinner or even to just relax. You can walk to the pools and restaurants at the Royal Islander and Royal Mayan. Staff are very friendly and maid service is everyday except Sunday.
The bus in to town is only 8.50 pesos (as of this writing) and once in downtown Cancun it is very picturesque and you can eat at the various restaurants. Don't forget to barter for your silver jewelery and other souvenirs at the tourist booths in the downtown area.
If you are not into taking lots of excurions a visit by ferry to Isla Mujerers is a must. Getting to Isla from the Hotel Zone in Cancun: Ferry service runs from the Embarcadero Dock, Playa Linda Pier at 9:15 am, 10:30 am, 11:45 am, 1:15 pm and 4:14 pm. The cost is $15 usd. You can rent a bike, moped or golf cart and exploring the entire island.
By staying at the Royal Resorts you can pre-book your airport transfers with Thomas Moore. Excellent service both ways.

Room Tip: All the rooms/villas have ocean views but they do have villas that face the ocean and when you are o...

We stayed at this resort for four days, five nights. Arriving on a Friday, we had to change rooms on the Saturday which could have been made a little easier. We had a tour booked for the next day and with the room change had nowhere to store our valuables, which did cause us some distress but once we go into our new room it was all plain sailing. The pool was excellent, the service at the pool bar was brilliant. The Mexican nachos...yum. I loved the fact your room keycard doubled as a charge card and each guest had their own account, made keeping tabs on spend redundant and the charge card was accepted in their sister resort hotels as well. So there was no reason to carry cash at all, though it did get confusing at times with something's priced in USD and some in Pasoes. The front counter staff were polite and helpful, bellboys very helpful and the cleaners very thorough, our room sparkled after the cleaners had been and our room ( both of them) was very nice...would have no hesitation in staying there again.
