an awesome place to stay!!!AN AWE It is very safe and the staff totally caters to their guests. I have been there many many times, in fact my friends and I board the plane on February 9th for a relaxing week in Cancun and I am looking sooo forward to it!!! I love the facility, it is very clean and the pools are very clean, they have everything you could possibly need. They also have a walmart and open air markets with craft items from clothes to pottery to leather goods. I'm not so much into shopping but I love just looking around at the different places around there like "Isla Mujerues" a very cool little Island just off the Cancun coast, back to the facility: I do love that place very much, their food is good and they have most everything you could possibly need. It's a great Place and I love it very much.

Room Tip: My time share is on the 3rd floor, right on the beach. I think my location is perfect, absolutely t...

First time to Cancun, would definitely go back and the Royal Caribbean is first class. I still enjoy all inclusive but if your smart you can cut your cost(s). We traveled by bus everywhere 24/7. Very cheap. Coco Bongo is a must see for music enthusiast. Rented the two seated power boats across the street - all was a good time. Grocery store could add more items but no complaints. Enjoyed trying to speak my limited Spanish. Everything was a breeze and to the employees of RC. Gratias.

Just spent a week at the resort with my family. Great Location, the resort is extremely well maintained and clean. The staff is welcoming, friendly, and helpful. The beach area is great with plenty of chairs and palapas.

The resort does not currently require all inclusive which is why we chose it. That I believe is changing soon. Too Bad, we would never reach the cost allocation so that would be a negative for us. The unit was bright, clean and comfortable. This resort is a delight as it is mainly families, couples and is quiet. We traveled to playa de carmen to an all inclusive resort 2 years ago. The resort was loud, crowded and had many disruptive guests which ruined our vacation.

This resort is well run, comfortable and the right amount of life, The front desk/concierge made all reservations and the ability to arrange transfer to and from airport was a big plus.

Pedro, front desk manager was a great asset. The restaraunt on site had a great lobster prime rib nite but the Italian night was mediocre and not worth the visit, except the pasta made to order.

I would recommend this resort highly, one of the best i have visited, but get there fast if you are not interested in all inclusive. If you are hopefully, their pricing will be appropriate for families and friends and not for wild groups.

Room Tip: We enjoyed a unit away from the center of the development and enjoyed the quiet

Just came back from The Royal Caribbean. I did like the resort. The landscaping was nicely done and the grounds were neat. The rooms were clean, but perhaps a bit dated. The beach and the rooms were always nice and clean. What irritated we was having to change rooms during the middle of our stay. Also service was kinda slow - especially the reception. You were forced to charge everything to your room. This is a bit square. Some times you might want to actually pay front up, but this was extremely difficult. Unless you save all your bills this can be a problem once you pay your final bill. Nice spacious rooms. I would not recommend the Tradewinds Restaurant - it is quite boring. For take away it's ok though. I liked The Market - they had a good choice of food and other products.

Room Tip: To to get a room in the building closest to the beach.

This was our second time to the royal resorts. Last year we stayed at the Mayan, and this year we had a villa at the royal caribbean. Our Villa was very nice. We arrived around noon on saturday. Check in was very easy and our villa was almost finished being cleaned. We dropped off our luggage , threw on our suits and went to get some lunch. lunch food at the resturant was pretty good as were the cold beers.THis trip included our 24, 21 18 year old sons as well as our 18 year old daughter. Our villa was on the second floor beach front. This was GREAT. We spent the majority of time on the beach. Chairs were easy to obtain as long as you went down by 10 or so. Not easy to get chairs at pool. People went down by 7-730 to "save chairs" by putting towels on them. They have rules but they are not followed. Many activities were available both for childern and adults. We just went into the ocean, we all worked out gym is nice but much too small for a resort this size( both the mayan, and islander also use this gym) and hours need to be longer. We parasailed at $50 a person form a place a couple doors down from resort. We took the city bus( a little less than a dollar US ) per person to the mall , and shopped around, went to the interacitive aquarium and swam with sharks( the were behind plexaglass), this was fun, and we got pictures. (they did not not run on my Apple lap top but did on the PC at home). We also went to the dolphin encounter which was arranged at the Hotel BY Thomas Moore ( they are great!!! and should be used for transportation to and from the airport) We had a great day. The only down fall was that the pictures were VERY expensive, $50 /person for the CD so for us $300.00 which is outrageous after spending $179 for the day for each person. they said they would take it down to $240 but we still found this to be too expensive. The resturants we enjoyed were Captains Cove,La Dolca Vita in Cancun although Savios in the hotel Zone is very good too. We brought inthe New Year at the Sands at the Mexican resturant and this was alot of fun for all of us- food was good. Pizza ordered to our room was good the first night we arrived. El Conquistodor the last night was very nice(at the Mayan). The market had many food choices alittle expensive, but we eat breakfast and some lunches in the room. The market could use more dvds in english as at night we would have liked to watch a movie( football which boys loved) was on which was a plus for them..Boys said the murphy beds were pretty uncomfortable but they still slept. Other beds comfortable. bathrooms good. The entire resort was very clean, all staff very helpful. Our concierge Rachel was great for arranging dinner reservations and getting info for us.! all in all we had a great time and will go back

Once again we had a wonderful time at the Royal Caribbean. The friendly staff and excellent food keep us coming back! Please do not change the resort to "All Inclusive" I feel you will lose a lot of happy travelers, you have a good thing going now with excellent service/food, so please don't change it! The week was incredible, filled with beautiful views, well kept grounds, the friendlies people you could meet and beautiful property with all it has to offer, a perfect get away!

One suggestion I would add is to please add a Grille to the Beach Area, at times we had to wait a really long time to get food on the beach since it comes from the main resort part up from the beach. Adding a grille on the beach would improve service. But all in all...we LOVED this resort and vacation ! We'll be back....

Room Tip: All units are pretty much the same, except the rooms by the walkways are louder at night we have fou...

Four weeks after a quapruple bypass surgery we came to the Royal Caribbean. With dietary concerns we talked with the manager and he in turn spoke to the restaurant managers. Any thing I needed was prepared especially for me without salt. I am now walking 2 miles a day non-stop without stopping. The staff has been very caring and helpful. This has been our favorite place for 24 years. We travel the world and always come back to our Cancun home.
