Everyone has an opinion and when I read up on this hotel there was mixed reviews .
I have absolutely no complaints .
This hotel was great . Beach was beautiful and the service and food was fantastic.
The staff was so friendly and my kids made friends with many of them.
They had things to do for everyone. The kids club was great but they could make the evening show for the kids a bit better but that's my opinion ( my kids loved it )
I got hurt and the staff took care of me very quickly and had everything cleaned up and bandaged in no time.
Love this hotel and would defiently go back .
Isarael our bartender by the pool was my favorite and Paris the entertainment staff was my son best pal . ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Myself and my boyfriend visited Cancun last April for a 2 week holiday, We chose the Riu Caribe because of the price! Very reasonable.....Food available throughout the day.........We never went hungry however it didn't set the world on fire but was fine for what we wanted! Asian restaurant was very good.....make reservations for this.

Drinks served to us on the beach! we didnt event have to lift a finger! Staff within the bars, restaurant and reception were very helpful! Reps very good and not over the top! they would ask if you want to be involved in the activities without that usual pushy rep way! and would also accept no meaning no!

Beach activities available throughout the day..........Towels available all day! Some people have commented about sunbed wars! we found plenty of beds and also moved round throughout the day! but i suppose is depends on what time of year you visit.

I would however say that the nightlife within the hotel was pretty poor! everything stopped at about 10pm! which is great if you want a quiet holiday however if you wanted a little more going on it would mean leaving the hotel and paying to go somewhere else.

Rooms really nice and tidy, Make sure you take the correct plug adapter as they are expensive to buy within the hotel! rooms serviced everyday and mini bar and fridge topped up!

The one disappointing thing was that when we left we noticed on the coach that our English money had been taken from our belongings it was around £40 however more fool us we should have locked it away in the safe! I just didn't think we needed to! I did email the hotel to complain and they said they would give us a free upgrade next time we visited! not sure we'll ever be back to use it but i did feel they took the complaint seriously.

All in all its paradise! Hope this review helps all looking to book in the Riu Caribe

Nothing bad to say except the stress every morning to get a sunbed with some shade. Food ok, but they need to get better ventilation at the buffé the clothes always smelled of fried food after lunch/dinner. Restaurant staff was amazing- always had a big smile :-) try to get a room on floor 5 and up. The door to the room is paperthin and it sounds like people in the bar is actually in your room!? Beautiful beach!

This was a family holiday and we had a awesome time. The hotel is based with local amenities near by. The main strip is only a ten min bus ride away.

We had a fantastic receptionist called angel. He was ever so warm and welcoming and helped us out in getting to different places. The hotel staff are lovely and friendly.

We are all vegetarians and the restaurant manager was absolutely amazing ..and accomodating. He ensured that we were happy and even advised that he was able to get one of the chefs to make us a lovely meal. The food was delicious .. lovely variety.

In terms of the bedrooms they were always cleaned and maintained well, our house keeper zoila was such a lovely lady.

The rooms were modern and we had a beautiful sea.view. the only down side is the size of the beds. They are a single bed and a half rather than a double. Never the less we had.a single bed added to our room by the next day.

However one needs to be careful too, as a mobile phone was stolen whilst it was charging from the room. This was reported and the staff were very helpful in compiling a report. However it was never found. This does not reflect the overall experience of the hotel, as the hotel is lovely.

Although there were some people who were on spring break. This did not effect our stay.

In essence, apart from the stolen phone we had a fantastic time. Thank you to all the staff who made our experience enjoyable; angel, zoila, the restaurant managers, the chefs, security and all the receptionists

We were at this resorts the first week of March. Our first night we.didn't sleep because our room was off the lobby. We even woke up to find vomit in front of our door. We complainedto front desk and got moved immediately to the best room in the resorts. The food is great at the buffet and we really enjoyed vthevpizza at the pool restaurant. The a la carte is good. You should try the steak house. The resort is clean and staff friendly. The only thing missing was a bath tub in room. The sand at the beach is the softest sand we've ever walked on and we've been to Jamaica, Cuba, Barbados and Mexico.

My self and my 2 friends have just come back from a two week holiday at the Riu Caribe and had the best time ever,

The hotel was very clean and well presented, all staff were very accommodating and welcoming, the entertainment staff were a joy to be around and so funny!
I would recommend this hotel to everyone who wanted to visit cancun, we did go for spring break but did not see much of it as the hotel was so nice and offered everything we wanted so we did not venture out that much.

One down side about the hotel was the size of the beds in our room! they are not full size doubles only slightly bigger than a single bed so with 3 girls shearing 1 room we had to take it in turns with 2 shearing and 1 sleeping alone, after the 4th night we did ask for an extra bed which was brought up the following day and sorted the sleeping problem out :)

The food in the hotel was lovely and such a wide selection. We ate at the steak house twice and the Mexican and Asian once you can use these as many times as you like throughout your stay but you do need to book them in advance the day before you wish to go.

The hotel offers a 24hr bar which comes in handy and they also offer snacks so if your peckish at 3am you know you can grab a bite to eat .

The wifi in the hotel is limited to 90 minutes a day per device so if you can't live without Facebook & twitter etc I would recommend taking a tablet (iPad) as well as your mobile, you are given instructions upon arrival to the hotel on how to use the wifi, the 90 minutes you get are in one go so once you log on you can not stop and start it but it does reset at midnight.

We also did the dolphin discovery while there and that was AMAZING I would recommend to everyone :)

The hotel has a spa, gym, hair/nail salon at additional charges & a mini market where you can get gifts, sun cream and branded snacks etc but I would recommend using the one just out side the hotel as it is a bit cheaper.

I hope you book you holiday to the Riu Caribe and enjoy your stay like we did x
