“Tour of Tulum Ruins”
Reviewed March 28, 2013

We loved the tour. Our tour guide, David, was a legit RM that spoke great English. He really knew his stuff, pointing out similarities between Mormon doctrine and the Mayan culture.

We didn't realize that the site was on cliff overlooking the ocean, and we could have planned to stay longer and swim and go to the beach...

Alma's tours did not have a problem getting us back to our cruise ship in Cozemel on time.

The ferry from Cozemal and the mainland is LONG (45 Minutes each way). We were most worried about that connection. But no problem with Alma's guides.

This tour was worth the money and the worry about the ferry.

“Fantastic Tours - Whole Family Loved It”
Reviewed March 21, 2013

We went to Yucatan back in October and researched which company we wanted to have help us in visiting Tulum, Chichen Itza, Uxmal and Coba. After lots of research and phone calls, we decided to have AlmaLDS Tours to be our guide. Miguel (Owner) was fantastic and Miguel Jr and Arnie were also awesome. We felt part of their family the whole time and the tours were incredibly instructional. I am fascinated with all the symbolism and they tied everything in for us. We have referred several friends to them over recent months and cannot say enough good things. Miguel picked us up and took us back to the airport and also provided free rides to church on Sunday. It was amazing. Wow. Our children (6,3,1 years old also loved the whole trip and Rachael still looks through photos on our iPhones everyday!)

“Excellent Excursion”
Reviewed March 16, 2013

We arrived in Cozumel on a cruise ship. We wanted to tour Tulum and very important for us to be back to the ship on time. We were a little anxious about using a tour group that was not a part of the cruise line but we wanted the LDS perspective. We were well taken care of and were able to travel back and forth between Cozumel and Tulum without any problems.

We had hoped to be able to snorkle after the tour of the ruins but there was not enough time. Other than that, we loved it!! We would highly recommend Alma's LDS Tours. If your're visiting Tulum be sure to wear good walking shoes. We would also recommed the package that includes lunch,as time is pretty limited.

“Great Service”
Reviewed March 14, 2013

Great tours of Tulum, Chichen Itza and a cenote. Alma and Arnie are very knowledgeable tour guides and we highly recommend them. We also arranged a dive trip through them and a ride back to the airport. They were very prompt picking us up on each of the days. They gave us a free ride to church services on the Sunday we were there and advice and directions on things to do on our own. They made our trip very stress free and enjoyable.

“Highly Dissapointed”
Reviewed March 13, 2013

We tried to set up a airport transfer and tour about 2 months before our trip. I called and got some more information about the tours about, but when I tried to schedule and pay online, it wouldn't work. I called and talked to Janeen. She told me that she would send me an email with some more information about the tours so that we could decide which ones we wanted to do. She also told me to fill out the form with our arrival information and send it to her and she would take care of it since it wasn't working on line. I did that and she sent me back an email verifying all our information and where to meet them at the airport. It said to print it out to verify. I did that and had it with me at the airport. No one showed up. We were stuck at the airport for over an hour calling the emegency number that was on the e-mail. When they finally answered, they said that they didn't have a record of us and they wouldn't be able to pick us up. Because we were stranded at the airport, we had to pay double what we were planning on paying for a shuttle. We tried to give them the benefit of the doubt and tried to contact them multiple times through e-mail and phone calls to try and schedule a tour, but they never responded. I was excited to use them after all the good reviews on facebook, but they nearly ruined our chances of seeing any of the ruins.
