I want to express my sincerely gratitude toward Ricardo, his friendliness and guidance was truly outstanding, not to mention his pure selflessness to show us around on his day off without any motive whatsoever, other than companionship. He is truly an exceptional young man and your hotel is fortunate to have him.

I also want to commend the day co-ordinators, they truly make an impression and do a great job involving people in activities. They are so friendly it makes you feel at home instantly. Very impressed.

The service at the hotel was terrible, the people that work there are cero friendly. We hate the service and pay a lot of money to be at that hotel. We didnt like the food either at some point there is nothing open to go and grab a snack. I wouldnt go back at any oasis.

Oh my goodness ! Where do I start? I don't typically write reviews but credit has to be given to those who have earned it. The best advice I can give to those who have read the horrid reviews here is that 1. Don't listen 2. Read this truthful, heartfelt and extremely lengthy review written by an honest and hard working same sex couple.

First things first, it's not a five star but you are treated like royalty as soon as you are greeted by the sharp and very well put together RAFAEL at the entrance of the hotel (ready to take your bags). The concierge and reception are great! JUDY and ----- made our trip so much more amazing! The door to our room was not working properly and as an "I'm sorry for the inconvenience" judy upgraded us to one of the most beautiful rooms I have ever stayed in my entire life. The room had it's own private pool! It faced the beautiful ocean and looked down at the whole pool area! It was so beautiful and sooooo romantic !

Did I mention we were a same sex couple ? We were treated like the norm ! We never felt uncomfortable or awkward on the contrary, they were so accepting and educated on lgbtq topics and what not. We live in Miami and have traveled before. We always get stares and sighs but not here. We felt so normal here.

Ok moving on to the food. Your first stop should be breakfast AURELIA makes THE BEST EGGS EVER! She puts so much love into her cooking that it makes a huge difference. Every morning, she greeted us with the sincerest smile. She talked to us and suggested we try the tortillas (I ate them everyday....OMGGGG THE BEST). Oh and how can I forget the most hard working and humble breakfast waiter JOSE! He is such a gentle soul. He is exactly what you NEED to wake up to every morning. The man pours coffee like it's an art form ! I have no words for the pride he takes in his job. TIP THEM ! I was outraged when I saw People not leave them a brown penny! Ugh! In the US it's customary to tip for service (and sometimes that service is horrible).

Now lunch, you have many options, you have the Italian place, the chicken place etc. in the Italian place they have one of the best hosts I've ever met! This tiny skinny little young man has more sincerity in his thumb than most people do in their entire bodies. My fiancé was sick one day and he was so concerned he even told us what would be the best Mexican remedy to get rid of an upset stomach. He continued to check up on her making sure she was feeling better. He is such a sweetheart! Bless his soul!

Oh and Enrique from the Unique company is the life of the party. He is hilarious!

Ok now JORGE from the VIP bar in the pool area is also noteworthy. His is beyond nice! Beyond humble and great company to have. We stood by the bar and talked with him for hours. He educated us on the hotels goal and vision. He also told us that every employee working in the hotel had to pass a mandatory lgbtq course. Whom ever declined would not continue to work for this particular hotel. He spoke so nicely to us and educated us so much on cancun culture, politics etc. that he was a delight and entertainment on his own. (We speak Spanish by the way) . Such an educated interesting man!

Oh and special shout out to MARITZA our house keeper! She kept our room spotless and so fresh and clean ! She is so so so so so sooooooooo nice. She like the aunt you always want to visit because she is sooooo sweet!

Last but definitely not least, is the best restaurant with the best people on the entire hotel MUERDEME MUCHO! Where do I begin, they made us feel like family instantaneously. My fiancé plays the guitar and our first day there was invited to play alongside the band. It was one of the nicest experiences I've ever had. The wait staff has me wishing I never left! Our last night there was bitter sweet, these people have such a special place in our hearts forever. To the waitstaff; JESUS, GUADALUPE, MAGDA, and MANUEL you guys will never be forgotten. "Jesus no miente" As for the manager JUAN CARLOS, he is what made this trip so epic and personal. He welcomed us and spoke to us. He suggested foods and educated us on their origins. He even gave us parting gifts which literally made me teary eyed. They had such meaning and were so sentimental. He explained to us how they related to Mexican culture and what they meant to him and what they should mean to us. He was such an amazing person that words fall short when describing such an hard working, honest, educated man. All I can say about the food is YUM! It's not spicy! But spicy is definitely an option! Try el pozolito de Abuela, flautas , fajitas , fish tacos.....EVERYTHING REALLY. Props to the chef/cooks...the food is beyond exceptional. Again, thank you JUAN CARLOS and staff we will be returning just to see you guys again! I can never explain how grateful I am to have crossed paths with such wonderful people!

The hotel is amazing! We upgraded to the Sian Ka'an room through CheapCaribbean.com, and it was well worth the money! First, the staff are outstanding! Even before the trip started, we were e-mailing Luis Cañada, who put us in a room that had breathtaking views, and a nice private balcony on the top floor. When we got to the hotel, we were greeted in the VIP section by Jhoselyn, who helped us make restaurant reservations at the hotel. Jhoselyn and Luis were both incredibly nice and helpful, and a huge help to making our trip so awesome!

The food is great!... especially at the restaurants where you have to make reservations. It is well worth taking the time to make the reservations early (thank you, Jhoselyn & Luis!). Dining at Benazuza and Black Hole really is a unique experience. The buffet was not bad, but all the restaurants out by the pool are great!

The pools are all great. The main pool has a swim up bar and an amazing view of the ocean. Ivan at the towel hut is very nice as well! He even remembered my name the whole week just after are first introduction. The VIP pool is huge, and has lots of beds, so finding a place to put our stuff was never a problem.

Every part of the trip was amazing, and we would go back in a heartbeat! Thanks to all the great staff for going above and beyond to give us such a great vacation! You guys rock!

Room Tip: Upgrading to the Sian Ka'an Rooms are definitely worth the money!

Super Romantic Hotel for couples of any age and sexual orientation.We are a Gay couple and found it si welcoming to go there . Our room was great excepting that we did not relly get what we wanted but again we were happy .our problem was relly with SUNwing as they did not get us what we asked for ( maybe they expect us to pay more ) .The hotel is great the dinning food excellent but the morrocan resturant needs to be taught how to make real coucous and Tabule .IT was pathetic lol sorry guys mexicans cant be Morrocan .For our other experience at the resturant thanks you to Louis " you made going to food a pleaseure .( the buffet) .
Book this hotel but try avoiding Sunwing .

Oasis Sens is definitely meant for couples. However, we went during Spring Break and it was a pretty mixed crowd of young and old people and couples and friends. For the price the food was pretty good. We especially enjoyed Al Sur and the Mexican Restaurant.

The staff are all wonderful and very friendly. Ricardo at Sunset Bar was particularly friendly and accommodating. He was always on top of refilling drinks without you having to ask. Best bartender at Oasis Sens! Luis and Luz from The Box were also very accommodating. Excellent service! They gave us a demonstration of making the dessert which was cream dipped in freezing cold water making it immediately freeze. Sabina was also very friendly and excellent at her job. She was always trying to get people involved with activities, but was not over the top.

The beach and decor throughout are stunning! Room, pool, beach, and bars were all very clean!

Only two complaints. The air conditioning in the room did not work AT ALL. It was extremely hot in the room and difficult to sleep. This was not so bad, because we did not spend that much time in the room. Make sure the air conditioning in your room is working before accepting the room! Our other complaint is upon arrival we were told by the supervisor at the front desk that are reservation was at a different hotel and were going to be removed. Ridiculous! Our reservation and confirmation clearly stated Oasis Sens. We refused to leave and after several minutes of complaining we were guaranteed a room at Oasis Sens. Upon talking to other guests we found out that the same thing happened to them at check in. This is really not a good first impression and the policy should be reconsidered.

Be sure to check out the Free pirate ship boat ride on Wednesday nights. Crazy fun! Lot's of dancing and drinks.

Overall, we would come back.

Room Tip: Make sure the air conditioning in your room works before accepting to stay in it!

This is a Super Romantic Hotel for couples of any age and sexual orientation.
We are in our mid 50's and it was hard for us to find fault with this Hotel.
We loved the Fabulous Sian Kaan room, with a breathtaking view of the Ocean.
We highly recommend that you reserve this type of room, it had a very large terrace and private pool, the Sunrise in the morning while you had your coffee made this vacation so memorable, what a way fantastic to start the day.
The Breakfast Buffet was amazing, lunch was in the Al La Carte restaurants, it would have been nice to have the Buffet also available to choose from, but we did love the Fahitas, Salsa and Guacamole at the Mexican restaurant for lunch.
Alba the wonderful waitress who we had at Breakfast and lunch would give us Spanish lessons, she took great care of us, we love you Alba, and your great welcoming smile.
If you love fresh Fish the dinner buffet was great, Sushi, Pasta Bar, lots of fresh cheese and many choices, but a bit lacking some evenings on other meat choices, and food was not labeled, so we did not know what was in some of the dishes.
The night manager Josue Santos, was extremely helpful in dealing with our few issues.
He was so professional, welcoming and wonderful in helping us, if you have any problems while here he can help make your vacation one to remember, he genuinely cares about making your experience at Oasis Sens a great one. To the single ladies going down he is great looking and not married, sorry Josue I had to mention that (he is a great catch).
One thing to be aware of at this Hotel is there are many stairs .....about 40 to get to the Buffet and many steps down to the pools and Ocean, so if you have mobility issues, this is not the place for you, as it would be difficult to get around.
I have a bad knee and Josue Santos the night manager told me that if necessary, I could use the Employee access elevator. I managed without it.
Overall this Hotel for us was 5 star all the way and was one of our best vacations yet.
The Cancun Breezes were amazingly refreshing, jumping in the waves was delightful the beach and pools were excellent. Great Hotel with wonderful hard working staff, who deserve to be well tipped, the tip to bring 100 $1.00 U.S. bills was great.
On a bad note not about the Hotel but getting here........Don't book with Sunwing we had a 12 hour delay with 2 hours on board before we were allowed off . We will seek compensation from them for a day of our vacation lost, we were at the airport for 14 hours had to wait 2 times for a lousy $15.00 meal voucher that does not cover a Sandwich and coffee at the Airport..... then to slap us in the face they handed us a voucher for $75.00 towards our next booking with them........., like anyone on that flight going down who were treated like animals will ever book with Sunwing again, find another way to get to this great Hotel. Thank you Oasis Sens for a great vacation.

Room Tip: Go Sian Kaan you will not regret it, worth every extra penny for by far one of the best rooms availa...
