My family (two adults, two girls aged 5 and 7) had a great time at this all-inclusive resort. Great value for a family. (we paid $4500 for a 7 night all-inclusive during Easter break with direct flights from Alberta)
I was really impressed with how much all the staff hussled and worked hard (sure, some were doing it for tips but regardless, they were hustling). Lots of activities for the kids (mini golf, wall climbing, zip line, kids water park, water slides, indoor games, etc). Beach area was great.
Food was very decent for an all-inclusive. Buffet had several chefs cooking omelettes or making smoothies. Pool snack bar always had burgers, dogs, wings, fries, and other. Five a la cartes gave people options.
Some downsides: always seemed windy, ocean was rough, room would "whistle" due to air trying to squeeze through the balcony door (an air pressure issue), having to call to book a la cartes at 8 am each day (redialing for 30 minutes), putting towels on pool chairs at 6 am, our room needed a paint job, only 2 english channels on TV.More
