Crown Paradise Club Cancun
Ranked #51 of 176 Hotels in Cancun

After reading some of the reviews about this hotel we were very concerned about going and made our travel agent change our hotel to the Royal Solaris. When we arrived at the RS, they told us they were overbooked and sent us to the Crown Paradise Club. Needless to say, we were a little upset. But every day was better and better. The hotel is beautiful, the beach was fabulous and the hotel staff was helpful and friendly. The food in each of the restaurants was excellent. I think that everyone has different expectations of what they expect when they travel. If you are flexible and understand the climate where you are going i.e. hot and humid, you will not be disappointed. In this hotel the lobby area and hallways were not air-conditioned. But the A/C in the rooms was more than adequate. We would be thrilled to return to the Crown Paradise Club on our next trip to Cancun. We were 4 adults and 2 children ages 7 and 10. The children enjoyed the kids club and were supervised at all times. There is also a water slide in the kids club area that they enjoyed. We have traveled to other places and we all enjoyed Cancun. There is so much to see and do you cannot possible be bored.

We have visited Cancun annually for the last 5 years. We once stayed at a different (higher-priced) resort, but came back to Crown Paradise and will stay there from now on. It is the best family, kid-friendly resort in Cancun. The facilities, restaurants, activities, beach front and theme parties are awesome. The entertainment staff are unbelievably talented and dedicated. The service is outstanding. Even the cab drivers at Crown Paradise (such as Mr. Alfredo Sosa-Cruz) are exceptional at making your vacation a dream come true. Can't wait to go back to Crown Paradise, Cancun. It should be rated 10-stars.

We stayed here the first week of February of 2003 and loved it. This was our first time at the Crowne Paradise. Our room was incredible!!!
We had 2 bedroom condo in the newer building. Everything in this builing was new. If you're staying in a time-share the 2 bedroom condo can sleep 6 comfortably and has 3 bathrooms, so each couple can have their own. We purchased the meal plan on the first day and were not dissapointed. Now, I'm not picky, but my husband, brother-in-law and mother are. They all found something to eat at every meal and loved the food. They even have a chinese/sushi place. We had no problem getting into the restaurants each evening as long as we called ahead the day before. Other guests told us it was because of the time of year. The best was the Italian restaurant. Loved the balsamic spinach salad and steak dish. 50's was also very good. The steak place was good too, ride the bull. We liked Fishermans the least. These restaurants are much better than the American chains. Warning- the salsa is very hot!!!
Fresh fruit, made to order omelettes and eggs at the buffet everyday.
Try the mexican entrees at lunch, they're very good. There's plenty of beer, my dad must have drank a keg alone. The chicken wings at the pool snack shack were fantastic. Look out for the hot sauce!!! Bring insulated mugs for your drinks or your ice will melted by the time you get to your seat. The adult only pool was closed while we were there, and my dad got real tired of the screaming mexican activities coordinator. So if you want to sit by the large pool, bring your ear plugs. Everyone I talked to loved the food. So if you read a review that didn't, they're probably serious snobs or have an eating disorder.
The hotel rooms are not as nice, most of the folks were not that happy.
So if you can, rent or borrow a timeshare.

Just returned from Crown Paradise (Nov 14-21) with 2 teenagers and mom.
1st trip to Mexico, usually go to Hawaii. Mexico much more humid than Hawaii. Had a fabulous time, rooms were nice, slept all night with sliding door open listening to waves crash on the beach. Kids say this was the best vacation ever, lots to do, tennis, volleyball, pool tables, etc. Food was good, great selection, many restaurants and bars.
A/C was all fixed and had to shut it off most of the time, too cool.
Any minor problems we had were solved within minutes of calling the front desk. Staff was fabulous, especially the entertainment people.
Can't wait to go back and will stay here without hesitation. Even on rainy days they had lots of indoor activities to do. Best vacation ever. Thankyou Crown Paradise.

We stayed here Nov1-8 and had a blast with our 6 and 2 year old. The room we had was nice, they provided us a refrigerator at no cost, the rate of exchange was as good as the bank and way better then the airport. The air conditioning could have been better, as well as some of the restaurants. Pools were nice and clean, so was the beach but the beach is small in all of Cancun. Service was pretty good. Food good in La Palapa, Fisherman Restaurant, Mexican restaurant and the Japanese/Sushi was awesome. Waynes boots gave you a steak that Sizzler would have rejected and 50's was cool and the abience was awesome but the meal was terrible. My daughter hurt her foot and they had a doctor that stiched her up for $80 on site which was great, they even offered us a comp for our troubles which were not their fault. Weather was great. We worried about the water but no problemo, even with the frozen magaritas! Kids club and Baby club were clean and nice, but when crowded needed a bit more supervision. 8 nights for $3200 with airfare?
Goodbye Beaches for $7,000, hello Crown Paradise. We'll be back!

Arrived at Crown Paradise Club, on November 2, through November 8th.
The hotels employees were great, very clean, which I was impressed.
Swimming pools were excellent. At first I was a bit annoyed with all the kiddies crowding the pool side bars, because it was a pain to get some drinks for my girlfriend and I. But I forgot about the adult pool which is located on the first floor, which was absolutely perfect. No kids allowed and there was a pool side bar there also. We went to Cancun in the off season and this hotel was great for families and couples who are over 30. The bars are great especially the one thats has a setup like a ship. If you 18-late 20's who want to have more 20 something couples or singles, I would look into another hotel, but overall Crown Paradise was a very GOOD resort.

This was my first trip to an All Inclusive resort. I traveled with my wife, our 4 and 2 year old daughters, and my in-laws (Feb 2003). We had a great time. The food selection was great. The staff was very pleasant and relatively fast. A little tip and being pleasant yourself will remind them who you are and the service goes from very good to awesome.
My in-laws have been to many resorts are have the same opinion as myself. We chose this resort because of our desire to take our small children, we were again very pleased. The childcare and entertainment was excellent and flexible (i.e. we only used them a few hours a day).
The older child loved the activities and the private water park.

We are going back this year only my wife and I. Note that there was plenty of adult entertainment and privacy options too (i.e. there own pool out of the way and a restaurant exclusive to adults).
