Le Blanc Resort and Spa was so amazing. I was there with 8 of my closest friends to celebrate my 40th bday and enjoyed every minute and the staff truly made it special. I wanted R&R and I got it! From my greeting at the front desk with the delicious coconut drink to the cucumber and cold cloth on my eyes at the pool I felt so stress free. The food was good too. I had lunch at the beach, at the pool, watched a fire show with steak and potatoes. The gym was way above what I normally find at a resort offering Pilates classes. Aqua spin, TRX, Spin. Easy access from the pool to the beach to the hot tub. Also, the spa can't be missed. Huge spa with pre- treatment journey pools. The only thing I might look into changing is the room situation for singles. I stayed in a room with double bed with my friend. If a room has double beds it's pretty safe to assume a couple won't stay in that room. So more privacy would be nice, not much need for an open tub situation and a bathroom that is more secluded would be nice. That's literally the only thing I would change.

This was our first trip to Le Blanc and would like to say a VERY SPECIAL PLACE, besides the experience at CHECK IN being SUBPAR, overall the rest of our experience were excellent. We did use Dream Days for private transportation which included drinks and flowers for my wife and was not available otherwise as Palace members. We didn't get the normal greeting as mentioned in other reviews. We are members with palace Premier VIP and also Elite membership. I would not recommend to my friends having a membership because I do believe those that are not members often get better rooms by booking thru travel agency and possibly better pricing being they didn't invest over 20K. After our first couple days in Lagoon room we had met a lot of very nice people both working at the resort and other vacationers who were able to help us get a ocean view room.(as you notice, unfortunately when you arrive having a bad experience its what your remember first). We did get a apology from member services on day of departure. We visit cancun at least 2-3 times/year and we also are looking forward to return trip to Le Blanc 24 Dec-3 January and are hoping we don't have the same experience at check in. This is the only Palace resort that we had this experience so hoping it was just because GM was out of town/unavailable etc.
I would live to take this time in our review to tell you about the people we encountered during our 10 day stay. We'll start with David manager days in the international restaurant, this is one young man who will go places in life and you see it in his ability to ensure every customer to that restaurant during the day feels like they are the most important person. I think during our last 2 days there he was on vacation and the gentleman that took his place was not the same, he spent more time with the servers and not the customers as David and think he needs to know that this was noticed by customers. Gilbert, Armand, Adam**, and Jesus are servers in this area am/pm and go above and beyond even remembering our names and deserve special recognition.
Outside at the pool Ms Laura, I believe she is the pool manager and she has this wonderful hard working ethic, of special mention under her for us was Javier this man i think used to be a gardener we were told and he even took us to his special garden of orchids so don't forget to ask him to show you this area. He remembered us each/every day always with sweat running off him from running around always had a smile and can't wait to see him again over christmas.
I think we had the opportunity of cooking with your head chef memo cordons and hoping he also will still be there upon our return at christmas because this young man always went above and beyond. One day we had been to the market 28 and picked up something that we had thought was pasta, he took it in the back and fried this snack up for us, so we knew what we purchased. He made it a point to muddle with the guests and we think this is also important and we observed him making special meals for other guests. He also worked with Roger (member services, now this young man is amazing and if there is anything you need he can help find it or arrange a special event for you) to prepare special dinner for us at the pavilion for about 8 of our closest friends. Hector the manager (evening international I think) came out to pavilion introduced the staff Gerardo, Juan and Hugo and helped us to have the most special evening and food was just extraordinary.
You also have a very special young man David I'm not sure what his title was but he did a lot of grounds keeping first couple days around the pool area then later during our stay he was in the gym and was hard working and always had smile for members.
Specially enjoyed the nightly events in the lobby bar, from the violinist, saxophone, tequila tastings and also the waitress, candy was very nice and provided some of the best service in that area during our stay.
The food in the asian restaurant was one of our favorites and Manuel our waiter in there is very experienced and gets every thing right the first time and will remember you on subsequent visits.
The French restaurant Lumierre was also fantastic we ate there twice, the filet can be cut with your fork and also the tuna tartar superb, service on both occasions was excellent.
The spa was another highlight of our stay here, had the opportunity on numerous occasion to have Ms. Lorena Hidroterapid (hope I got her name right) help with the start of all our spa services in that area from just daily use of steam/sauna/reflexology and hot tub she explained everything, kept me happy with tea. Of special note was the Kulkannon massage for couples that was set up upon our arrival to LeBlanc with member services, of special note and thanks to the 4 people that gave us that massage particularly because we understand the gentleman came from Beach Palace and would highly recommend this experience to anyone. This ritual was led by Israel and this guy is so intelligent and he was like the conductor, with him was Angel, Martha and Hilda all of whom deserve some special attention/credit from spa manager if you will. Also don't forget to try the Fish Spa.
These are the people who stood out during our stay at Le Blanc and if you should have the pleasure of knowing them as we did be grateful because its the people like this that make this place rock. We did have butler/concierge(b/c) and I choose not to mention their names here because during our stay we didn't have the b/c experience that we thought we would have at this 5 star level of hotel and wasn't the same b/c experience we had at Sun Palace a year earlier. Maybe things have changed or maybe it was because the GM was not there during our stay but things were very lax and overheard others with similar complaints with regards to services of butlers/concierge but also heard from others on other friends with totally opposite experiences. This also was holiday time and easter so I'm sure for some they wanted to be home with family and possibly this was reason for lax in service. We even tipped the butler on arrival because others recommended it but this didn't seem to make a difference so not sure what to tell you but hoping this was just a fluke. From past experience our butler/concierge at other palace resorts unpacked/packed our suitcases on arrival/departure, we met individually with this person and they were able to schedule all our services/special needs transportation/tours etc . At this particular hotel everything had to be done down in the lobby and there seemed to be a lot of running up and down the elevators during our stay to schedule events so not a very special experience for us as we celebrated our 30 years together.
We have traveled extensively over the years(europe,saudi/africa/US) and cancun is our go to place when we want to relax and have a good time, not necessarily for tours/party etc. Just wanting to be treated as special and have private quite time with my lover. This was our first time at LeBlanc and plan to return this year over Christmas/New Years with our friends that we met at this resort, in saying that as members we are looking to use outside travel agent as opposed to our membership to ensure we get the room we want as its the experience that we are after and just to avoid the hassle at check in, would pay whatever to get the ocean view room.
We are headed back to Sun Palace in June this year because of our wonderful experience there and I'm sure we won't have the check in experience we had at Le Blanc.
Overall this was a wonderful experience we met 4 different couples all of whom we are in close contact with and hoping to travel back to LeBlanc over the holidays.

Room Tip: Pay ahead of time to guarantee ocean view otherwise expect lagoon and grateful if otherwise accommod...

If you want the very best in a quiet adults only spa resort then look no further. Read below to see how great your stay can be. You will want to return again and again. There is very special staff at this resort.

We stayed at the LeBlanc Spa Resort April 22nd to April 30th. Pick up at the airport was easy, quick and comfortable. The private transportation is great and time saving. Ramon, our driver both ways, was very friendly. This was our 2nd week stay since last March. We also visited one day in September. Greetings were warm and friendly, as always. We were greeted by our newly promoted Diamond Concierge Roger Garcia Valdez with our favorite adult beverages. Transferring Concierge Viridiana was there as well. All of our spa requests were completed before our arrival by Viri - great job! Our private check in was a breeze. Roger did an outstanding job his first week as a Diamond Concierge. He has great personality and will do well in this position.

Our room with jacuzzi ocean view was perfect on the 8th floor. All week the housekeeping service was perfect. The floor butlers were always available and were gracious and willing to help with any detail. We are grateful to those butlers for their fine service: Joel, Luis and Carlos. Special thanks.

We love the 3 pools and beach at the LeBlanc. The beach in this area is the widest and this section of the hotel strip has a breathtaking view. Pool Concierges Laura, Julio and Lucinda were always present and hustling about to make sure that we had everything we needed in their area. Henry was always there to help as well. Pool side bartender Raul was wonderful as we remembered on our last visit. His Espresso Martinis are to die for! Pool waitress Jeanette was so sweet and efficient at her job.

We had a special dinner in an outdoor Gazebo near the pool area and waiter Carlos was very good and made dinner special. Carlos made us the best Mayan Coffee we've ever had in all our years of Palace membership! Manager Hector was outstanding in making our meal "Special" including a flaming desert. Our two dinners at the Italian and the two at the Oriental were equally as great and very well presented. The managers at the Italian were Marco first followed by Isaac last. Both men are wonderful at their profession. The manager Emmir at the Oriental is one of the finest gentlemen we have met. We met him on our previous visits and are so pleased to dine in his area every time. We also had a wonderful dinner at the Mexican / International our first night and an outdoor BBQ the evening of the fire show. Manager Hector did a great job our first night and at the BBQ, Manager Renan was terffic and very attentive. Great job Renan.

All the restaurants are enjoyable to dine in and we were greeted by Chefs Marco and Memo and their staff. The food quality and presentations are 5 star at this resort. One very special Chef is Chef Aquilino. Always friendly and smiling and offered and prepared several wonderful authentic Mexican breakfast and lunch entrees. He was a highlight in our stay. It was a pleasure to meet General Manager Andreas Schmidt out and about twice. His presence is felt every where at this resort. Pride and excellence in every area.

Breakfast and lunches were always delicious at the International restaurant. Manager David is a wonderful manager and we remember him well from our previous stay and visit in September. First Iatalian, then Oriental, to the International and as we were about to leave moving onto the Lamiere French restaurant. Great job David. There are so many wonderful waiters here. Gamaliel, Rafael, Armando, Jesus. They were so happy and kind we wanted them everyday.

The spa service appointments were made beforehand so we did not have to wait in line to make appointments. We received excellent deluxe spa mani/pedis from Karina and Claudia. We remembered Claudia from our earlier visit. Both ladies are very special. We had massages several times by Belen and Sofia. They were the best at their profession we have experienced at any Palace Resort over many years and visits. We requested them for repeated visits. Thank you ladies!

Staying at the LeBlanc is like visiting a distant family. Pamela Oliver, Selena, and Porfirio in guest service are wonderful and always helpful as needed. Always smiling, warm in there greetings. We can only highly recommend this resort to couples of any age and we will return soon.

Look this is a nice hotel for those who do not expect the exceptional. The staff are great, the drinks and wine are good, the food is mediocre in flavour .. It's not like the Grand style of the Ritz Carlton, I would call it posh Butlins. Been here twice and was not happy about being pressured into a time share presentation, after travelling for 16 hours. My Platinum American Express and financial profile must have caught their eye, even though we checked in my wife's name. After saying no, no, no .. I still got several phone calls. I think those people who are members of the time share programme get the best treatment at Le Blanc. We left and went to the Ritz Carlton along the road. There are two world class Restaurants across from the Ritz. The time share bit just degrades the hotel and certainly put me in a bad mood for the rest of the few days we were there, hence we checked out early. After the Ritz in Cancun, we went to the Four Season in Mexico City, what a great City and Hotel. I do go on a bit but just to conclude, say no to timeshare and be demanding and I am sure you will have a good time at Le Blanc, it was just not my cup of tea....

Love love love..
Clean, kind staff, good food, good drink...good spa.. Outstanding service..we had wonderful time(girl friends) ever and it was my second time in le blanc, better then first time.
I can't wait to go back to Le Blanc.......

Anyone who knows me, knows I am a OCD Hotel Snob. I must have a clean hotel with modern amenities. I was really worried when we were traveling to the hotel as I had no idea what to really expect...but to my surprise I loved it! We had the best time. The hotel was super clean, the staff was so friendly and extremely accommodating. We had the most amazing time and I had a special birthday dinner on the beach! My boyfriend and I are also food critics, we travel around the world and eat and gourmet restaurants all of the time. The food was outstanding. Israel the little lady who made omelets was so sweet and made the best omelets. The Oriental Restaurant for dinner was amazing! I would recommend the Intercontinental restaurant for breakfast and lunch but not for dinner! Oh and the SPA! It was one of the best spa treatments we have had. We had a couples massage. We went in a private room-where the ladies washed our feet, put us in the sauna, then the steam room, then a shower, then into a hot tub with champagne and nuts followed by an incredible relaxing Swedish massage. Seriously best experience ever. If it wasn't for our travel agent Lisa Zwissler at BeachBumVacation.com we would of never found such an amazing all inclusive. I always thought all inclusive were cheesy like Sandals or for people who hardly travel but no this was a great experience and was perfect!
