We got married here in Dec 2008. Absolutely fabulous from the minute we arrived. All staff were excellent, a butler on each floor who CANNOT do enough for you. Rooms stunning and the wedding planner, Diane was superb. Food is just excellent. Highly recommend , the best we have ever been to.

Facilities, Spa, Rooms, atmosphere & Staff were amazing, especially Javier on the Terrace Bar, no ask is too much, and Jesus if you stay on the 7th floor.
Gym is also excellent with great staff on hand for well needed classes, after all the excellent food and way too much booze!
Enjoy

Room Tip: Honeymoon suites well worth the little extra for a sea view

From the start - with a comfy airport pick-up complete with cocktails and flowers, to the non-stop pampering, to the box lunch prepared for us on the day of our departure - you cannot go wrong with this resort. No request is too big or too small. Need a fresh towel or the umbrella adjusted poolside? No problem. Need your bags unpacked or a room upgrade? Done.

What sets this resort apart is no waiting in line for a seat in any of the restaurants. Also, every guest is treated equally. This was perfect for our group of 4 adults (2 couples). We plan to return again and again. Thanks for a great vacation!

Room Tip: Consider the junior suites because they have an extra balcony and an awesome bathroom.

March 2013....Just had an amazing vacation at Le Blanc Spa in Cancun!!!! We have been to many all inclusives in Mexico and Punta Cana, and I can honestly say this was the best I have ever experienced. The food was outstanding!! The customer service was top notch. It is a low key resort, very relaxing. If you want some party night life, downtown is just 5 min walk to Coco Bongo, Senor Frogs, etc. They do have nightly shows at the resort but they are low key except If you like Michael Jackson..... you have got to see that show, not to be missed!!! Also, the beds and pillows are unbelievable comfortable. You fall right to sleep and get a great sleep! Ask for the aromatherapy in your room. Very romantic and relaxing!!

This was our first visit to an all-inclusive resort and we were not disappointed. The service is excellent our room (with a view of the ocean) was quiet, relaxing and very comfortable. The food in all the restraurants was delicious.
All of the staff at Le Blanc work hard to make sure your stay is very enjoyable. Our butler, Cesar was very kind and always remembered our names. He was very helpful and answered all our questions.
Whether you are at the pool, by the ocean, working out in the fitness center someone is always there to help you, get you a drink (even if it's just coffee!) or offer a towel. We have no complaints and hope to return soon.

Room Tip: We stayed on the Royal Honeymoon suite (5th floor) facing the ocean. We would recommend this room o...

We are palace members and as a rule love the resorts. We have our favourites and know our style is not everyone's. We prefer the smaller , more intimate locations and Sun Palace, Playacar and Cozumel are all favourites. One thing about Palace we love is that they always greet you as if they know you particularly as members. We were excited for our first trip to Le Blanc...the supposedly high end Palace Resort. We are still here and certainly not suffering but so far would say don't bother paying the extra...go to one of the other ones we mentioned for service.

They promote private airport transport in Suburbans...we waited over 45 minutes and finally got jammed in a small dirty taxi with no air and broken shocks. We had been saying how nice it would be to arrive in style...guess not. The other couple on our flight did get the suburban. When we asked at the airport they just shrugged and said we don't know why you don't get it.

Upon arrival we were not greeted so we unloaded our luggage as the one doorman was helping someone else into a lovely suburban. No welcome back ( the normal greeting at other palace resorts). No cool towel at the door. A young lady waited inside with a cool drink who then told us to please sit and wait as check in was busy. We were seated in an area with one chaise lounge...not sure how we were both to sit so we perched together. After about 5 minutes we were invited to the check in. Most Palace resorts have a VIP members check in and serve you drinks and snacks as you wait. I was starting to get frustrated and disappointed...we had so looked forward to this.

At check in I asked were they not using Suburbans anymore. The clerk simply said I don't know why you did not get it, I was not at airport. No apology, no we will check...this is very unlike Palace. As VIP members we are supposed to get ocean view and upgraded rooms. We were told they were not available. Then we were asked if it was available would we use our resort credits. I again asked do you not see we are members and get it at no charge? And are they available or not? A palace planner came over and said my managers are both busy with members right now but you only get room if available. I said why why did they ask of we would pay, was told that perhaps tomorrow it would be available but we would not have to pay, the girl at check in was mistaken. Still no welcome back, sorry for the trouble. We said fine, by now we just wanted to get to our room, unpack and relax about two days of travel. I said it was unlikely we would move as to pack and unpack numerous times was not what I wanted to do.

We headed up to our room. It is a lagoon view, no balcony ( the other resorts all have balconies and we have never not had an ocean view) and an odd long hallway that you can barely pass each other in. The closets are here so if the closet door is open then you really have to step into the closet so the other person can pass. The room is quite small compared to other Palace resorts, the toilet is in with the shower....not the best layout! One single sink...again far inferior to the other Palace bathrooms, now I do admit I am a bathroom snob...I judge hotels by their bathrooms!

Well guess what, fifteen minutes after we were in the room, concierge gone , bags unpacked the phone rang. It was the Palace Planner saying oh my manger was available now and we could move to an ocean view room! Now I was getting really angry . I had said clearly please check, we really want ocean view, we do not want to pack and unpack and pack again....nope no room for us and now when the manager finally had time to acknowledge us a room magically appeared. That could have happened when we checked in. We did not bother moving as by now we just wanted sun and relaxation. We came to leave stress behind. As someone in the industry I know that this issue could have been resolved as we were checking in...we just did not matter enough to warrant the attention it took to solve the problem. Not five diamond service.

The food by the pools is a step up from some of the other resorts. Pool service is good. The main pool is overcrowded and lacks sun. we tried third floor..nice less service bit quieter. also Moon pool, nice, you can hear the highway but also birds on lagoon, good service, quieter, the beach seems odd, few chairs and umbrellas but we are going to try. No reserved seats like at the other resorts where your name is on your chair.

The food in the restaurants is comparable, not really any better. Service in the Italian restaurant the first night was a challenge...no bread, long wait, pleasant staff just poorly organized. Lamb was extremely hard to cut...either need better knives or more tender meat. Risotto was nice. Last night oriental restaurant had good service, appetizers were tasty, entrees so so, meat was tough again.

Spa, is nice but again was looking for five diamond. Had my mani pedi, it was well done then went for hydrotherapy. Service was good but steam room is broken, jacuzzi water is quite cool, overall a bit small and needing updating...jacuzzi is a small four person tub and we were three in it...bit tight. Not up to par of some of the other palace spas and this is supposed to be the best spa. My husband had massage and said it was good. I have a massage tonight so we shall see. We booked a very expensive couples treatment for our last night. Will be interesting to see if it lives up to its claims of private jacuzzi and steam room etc.

Tonight dinner at the French restaurant La Lumiere. We will try the beach also today.

So we have five nights left but so far...don't bother paying the extra, from an experienced Palace member who is pretty picky save the dough and choose Sun Palace for adults only or put up with a few kids and choose Playacar you will get reserved seats, ocean views, balconies, comparable spas and food, more welcoming service.

Will update if it improves!
