“Great stay at the Casa”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 27, 2014

My wife and I were looking for a peaceful place to enjoy our stay in Cancun and we struck gold with Casa Turquesa!!

The amazing décor in the hotel was complimented with a very nice room that was laid out extremely well and offered a quiet nights sleep!! Our maid did a fantastic job and was one of the sweetest people we have met.
The days would start with a tasty breakfast and attentive service from the gentlemen in the restaurant. After a bit more relaxing in the room our next stop was the beach. Never once did we have to fight for or go without a cabana, even though we would never show up before 10.
After some time on the beach taking in the sand and the sun, the ever attentive Ernesto would show up with some drinks to make it even better!! Each day he would have a new cocktail for my wife and every day she thought it was better than the last! Great service at both the beach and the pool bar where we would enjoy our lunches.
Another great asset of the hotel is Missy! Always friendly and helpful, she was our source for everything we needed to better enjoy the hotel, find great spots to head out to and book a few adventures.

We highly recommend Casa Turquesa to those looking for a relaxing time in Cancun!!

Stayed at this hotel for a week. I enjoyed my stay even though I didn't really like cancun. The hotel is like an art gallery with lots of paintings and sculptures. Found all the staff friendly and helpful. The food at the pool restaurant very good and reasonably priced. The bedrooms are also huge and nice. Was glad to have booked this hotel especially when you see some of the other monstrosities that are built on the beach. I only ate at the celebrity restaurant once but the food was tasty and freshly cooked and much better than some of the rubbish that is served at some of the other restaurants in cancun. The hotel has an old fashion feel about it which I liked. I would highly recommend this hotel. The only negative is why do you charge for wi fi ? All the bars and restaurants in cancun give it for free. I'm sure you could ?

We were several days at a large local resort, but because of flight availability we had relocate for 2 additional nights. What a nice discovery for us, as via expedia I located vacancy at Casa Turquesa for me and family. Quiet, large rooms, beautiful view of the sea, very good food, and a sense of intimacy and seclusion, even though it is bordered by 2 larger hotels. In addition there is beautiful and interesting art work throughout, so much so that the management also terms the hotel a museum of art.

The whirlpool bath on the veranda of our room was a very nice addition, especially in the evenings as it began to cool off.

Our room was very large, as well as the bath and shower and double sink. The air conditioner worked well, which can sometimes be an experience in a boutique hotel outside the US.

In summary we thoroughly enjoyed the ambience, the staff, the complimentary beauty of the hotel and the environment, as well as the quiet and slower pace.

We stumbled upon this hotel while googling places to stay in Cancun. We wanted a stress-free, no-hassle vacation and found it at Casa Turquesa. The hotel is beautiful. Our room was large and well laid out. The service was wonderful and the room was cleaned well every day. Thank you Missy for organizing everything; Oscar for the fine breakfast service; and Ernesto for taking care of us at the pool and for listening to my husband's bird calls.

Like a museum on the beach. Love it there; will return again next year. Beautiful large room overlooking the ocean, great setting, friendly staff, near malls and restaurants, quiet and comfortable. A plus

Very nice hotel with unique art. Staff was great. Room very nice & large. Things that stop it from being 5 star: 1. I'll admit this is a pet peeve of mine, but internet access should be free. It is at $50/night hotels, why not at upscale hotels? 2. Service at the pool was Slooooooooow. 3. Didn't get wash cloths the last night...and didn't discover until getting up at 6AM before leaving. 4. I don't think the Jacuzzi had been used in a while. I had to plug it in (plug was hidden in the base) and all sorts of junk came out of the jets...mostly sand.

I would stay here again however. It's away from the Cancun insanity.

Casa Turquesa is right on the nicest beach in Cancun. It has a great pool and two restaurants on site. The rooms are beautiful and the whole hotel is decorated with fine art. Missy the manager was so helpful, our flight home got cancelled and she made arrangements for us to keep our room longer with no issues. We ate breakfast on the property every day and it was fabulous. I saw the patio area where sales people were meeting with time share prospects but it didn't bother me at all, not sure why anyone even brought that up. I will always stay here when in Cancun.

Room Tip: I'm not sure this hotel has a bad room, we stayed in two different rooms and both were great.
