Ecocolor tours was a pleasant experience from start to finish. Our guide Julien was professional and passionate about the whale sharks, our guides and captains were helpful and friendly. The experience was top notch and we would highly recommend ecocolor tours!

This is a fabulous tour if you're into Marine life. You will see beautiful whale sharks, dolphins, and even mantas. Keep in mind, this trip isn't for the non swimmer, for the person who gets motion sickness or sea sick easily. To be able to swim with these magnificent fish and keep up with them in the water it's almost necessary to be a strong swimmer. You do about three jumps all together and it's very exhilarating and tiring. I've done this trip twice and several people did get sea sick and most could not or chose not to do three jumps due to it being so exhausting. The sharks swim so fast that it's hard to keep up with them for any length of time. It's a wonderful experience, but I just want to expand on this is not for someone who is not a water person. The guides are very educated on whale sharks and helpful. It's a wonderful day out on the ocean and the marine life is great.

The crew from ecocolors was great. They did everything that could be expected. The whale sharks are huge and a wonder that everyone should experience. All the whale shark tours in the Cancun area are VERY busy. There were 17 boats all trying to see and swim with about 8-12 whales. Busy, crowed, with the smell of gas and diesel in the air, all boats had to keep engines running. The whales are constantly on the move feeding and at best you can swim with them for a few seconds. Almost better, but not really, to stay in the boat and watch them. We do not think that any of tour promo pics are of real tourists, rather the one in a 1000 pic, usually with a free diver. Really it was a bit of a ZOO atmosphere. That said we are checking elsewhere to see if we could get in the water with whale sharks again, but under better circumstances, as they live around the globe. It is an hour ride in open water each way. Motion sickness YES! Even folks that don't get sick....were. Even with all the negatives.....Do it before its illegal. Have FUN! Lorelli and Steven

Incredible to be swimming with over 30 whale sharks. You go in the water in pairs so you have all the possibilities to get real close and swim along with the whale sharks. An amazing and crazy experience. We got 4 turns. Guide Greta taught us a lot about the whale sharks and the organization puts the wellfare of the animals first. Great lunch afterwards. The total trip was well organized and with just 10 people on the boat it's not too crowded.
