“calm and peaceful”
Reviewed November 24, 2012

Very nice place to walk in the ocean breeze. Many sites to see, but especially interesting is the variety of vessels in the Mexican Navy.

“Appreciated visit”
Reviewed November 5, 2012

Visited here with Quest for Adventure cruise ship, local people gave us a wonderful welcome on the quayside as we were the first cruise ship of the season and they have seen very few cruise ships in the last couple of years due to bad publicity ( there was a murder in the city centre on the day we were there). The melecon is very close to the cruise ship and is an easy walk. I went on a coach trip to La Antigua and Cempoal, not very interesting!
When our ship left the quay were given a lovely send off, a band playing and local dancing and lots of people waving

“over rated area full of tourist touts.”
Reviewed August 12, 2012

compared to the Malecons of Cuba and europe this is a fizzer... with nowhere to sit and crowded with sales people selling useless paraphilania and junk. Do it once and you will not desire to do it again.

“Fun place to get some exercise and people watch!!”
Reviewed July 21, 2012

Just get on it and start walking!!! You will even see a place where they have exercise equipment that anyone can use for free. There are plenty of little stands to buy some snacks, as well as reataurants. Remember the freshest and in my opinion, best seafood is here!!! Go for a walk or a jogg in the evening and you won't be disapointed . We love this place !!

“Not on Par with Other Malecons in Mexico”
Reviewed July 11, 2012

Very "low rent" version of a malecon - Asphalt-covered walkway that runs along the harbor where the transport ships move in and out
