We went to S Caffecito because of the trip advisor reviews. We were thrilled. Frequent visitors to Taxco, this was the best find we've made in years. Not only was the food outstanding but the owner is a wealth of information about Taxco history, Spratling, silver design, etc. The breathtaking views of Santa Prisca alone would make S Caffecito worth visiting. This wonderful establishment is located in the home of the famous silver designer William Spratling and houses many of his personal treasures. We all left with satisfied tummies and treasured purchases from Violante's gallery of selected silver artisans.
S Caffecito is not easy to find but definitely worth the effort/vale la pena. Be sure to visit the gallery and, if possible, ask to talk to your beautiful and cultured hostess. You will be enchanted. We were.

Eventhough it is a little bit hard to find , this caffe is a great restaurant! I loved the environment, it is so artsy and makes you feel welcome. The terrace has a great view of the city and what I liked the most was that it is hidden from all the vendors so you have a comfortable
meal without loud noises or people interrupting you. The spinach raviolis could
have been better but the papaya and mint ice cream was delicious! Totally recommend it if you want to try something new for dessert!

We stumbled across Caffecito on our walk up to Chistos peaking through the door way we saw a cute green garden. The next day we came back for the homemade ravioli. We were all blown away with the quality and taste. We came back for their hot handmade bread for breakfast and lunch again the next day! It really is worth it, go!

Delicious, everything is hand made meals. A little something special in each dish, all made with love you can taste. The setting is divine! The staff are so beautiful and friendly. The coffee was to die for, and the fresh bread is classic. Stunning setting with a wonderful feel.
