All went ok for us here at this well-located hotel. We had room 32, quiet and comfortable, though I preferred the decor and size of room 31 with two doubles rather than a king. Found the restaurant over-priced with few veg options. Much better was Antica Gourmet which also opened earlier for breakfast at 8.30am.

Room Tip: Ask for upstairs away from the road. 31 or 32 are good choices.

We stayed there on Dec. 29th 2012. The hotel is located just a block away from Zocalo. No parking on site, but the parking of plaza Taxco is designated (I believe it was 60 pesos/night). Our room was not ready when we got there around 3pm, so we left our luggages at front and explored the city and tiangis (silver market). We stayed at the room with 2 queen beds and 1 twin bed. It was spacious. Amendments were ok, you may want to bring hair conditioner. Wi-Fi is available, but a bit weak for my i-pad that i had to go outside of the room on 2nd floor. We enjoyed the view of beautiful city Taxco from the roof top. We will stay again if we come back to Taxco.

Delightful hotel which is centrally located. Staff were most helpful. My room overlooked street and really was not noisy after 10.30 pm. Courtyard is magnificent with large tree inside (see photo). Rooftop was a good spot to view the town as well as relax there. Taxco is a wonderful colonial town, market is fascinating and great for silver jewelry shopping.

Incredibly charming. Bed is comfortable, wifi available in the lobby. A/C, tv in the rooms. Not sure about parking, since we arrived by bus from Mexico city. Originally planned as day trip, but happy we stayed overnight. Taxco is definitely worth checking out. Lovely hotel in a lovely town.

We stayed at this stunning hotel for 5 nights and have loved every moment of it - from the almost 360 degree view of the town on the roof top, the amazing old tree in the centre of the hotel, very comfortable room to its close proximity to the zocalo - which is literally around the corner.

Our room was cleaned daily and the hotel premises were always well kept. There are so many little pockets you can hang out in, especially around the bottom level where there are many couches/tables to relax on. We didnt really have any issues with noise although there was a fiesta in town during our stay - which meant there were fireworks at random hours - but this obviously is beyond the control of the hotel.

The restaurant downstairs was very well priced and we found it to be one of the better places to eat in town - therefore we ate here for breakfast and dinner on most days.

A place of comfort and charm. Very well located , close to plaza Borda right behind St.Prisca's Cathedral. Top roof has a great view aside from a nice place to rest and enjoy. For breakfast try "desayuno Taxqueño" (cecina, chilaquiles and huevo revuelto)

Four of us stayed at Hotel Los Arcos in late September for two nights. We all thought it was charming and clean. The beds are very comfortable. Each room is decorated with different art from the region. It has authenticity. It is truly old Taxco and yet everything is fresh and clean. Some of the rooms are noisy, so be sure to ask for a quiet room. There is a central courtyard with plants, trees and fountains. We found it a bit difficult to get our luggage up the narrow stairs. It would be good to have someone help customers with their bags. The hotel is in a prime location, just steps from all the activity, yet on a quieter street with little traffic. I would recommend this hotel if you want to feel you are in old Taxco.

Room Tip: Ask for rooms facing the Privada. All rooms have some noise.
