“Beautiful”
Reviewed November 21, 2012

If memory serves me right, the monies to build this church were donated by a man whose only request was that his son would serve as the priest here until he died. This church also has the only know painting of Mary, mother of Jesus, pregnant. We had an English speaking guide and it was wonderful. Set on the city Square, beautiful and well worth the visit.

“Santa Prisca Cathedral”
Reviewed November 11, 2012

This is the best preserved cathedral I've seen in Mexico. It gives you insight into the depth of the faith this family had that built the church. It's a must see if you are in Taxco.

“Sunday morning”
Reviewed October 19, 2012

We attended the childrens' mass and it was overwhelming. The mass, activities, homily, songs were directed to and by the children. The sermon was acted out by future actors. I was very impressed at how well the mass flowed reaching out to parents and children both, reminding both of their possibilities.
If we return to Taxco again, we will certainly attend this very special service.

A beautiful cathedral in the heart of the city. Unfortunately I didn't get to take a tour but they do offer them in English and Spanish. Wonderful!

“Guide was great!”

Check out Jesus getting circumcised. It's one of the few paintings of this historical moment in the world.
