Description: L'Arrabbiata Restaurant – a cozy intimate italian restaurant with a warming atmosphere, where the easiness of ingredients is blended with the taste of authentic italian tradition's dishes. You will taste hearty starters of fresh hand made pasta as filled ravioli and fettuccine, each served with plenty of typical sauces of italian cuisine. And no lack of music and good wine to come with a meal which anyone can afford, whether a tourist or not, thanks to the moderates prices.

Delicious pasta (which we cleaned off the plate-sauce and all!) great host. And the best chocolate mousse!! Made with the yummy Mexican chocolate. Typical size restaurant (only 3tables) and a great host who cookout meal just a few steps away.

“Like home cooked Italian”
Reviewed May 9, 2014

This should be number 1, especially since other favorites have recently closed. We eat there often and the carbonara and raviolis are superb. Laura makes her own pasta and the meals are prepared to order, making it as much like dinner at home as you could imagine. It is small, which adds to that feeling, but we have always found a table. All the dishes are rich and delicious and the prices are quite reasonable. If she happens to be full, the fish taco place next door is also great. There are spinach raviolis but more greens on the menu would be good and a better wine selection as well, I would pay more for better wine.

“Great!”
Reviewed April 19, 2014 via mobile

L'Arrabbiata is definitely our favorite restaurant in San Cristobal.
We went there twice in two days.
The food is great and so are the music and the atmosphere of the place!
Highly recommended.

“Great fun with wonderful pasta”
Reviewed March 1, 2014 via mobile

We arrived in San Cristobal after an 11hr bus ride from Oaxaca. L'Arrabiata was the perfect choice for Italian comfort food, delicious hand made pasta with lovely red wine. We thought we may miss out on a table however early on a Saturday night we were lucky! We would really recommend the ravioli and the fettuccine amatraciana.
