When on the street was rainy and grey in hostel Iguana I spent good time with my girlfriend where is colorful, cheerfully and nice people - especially owners - Monika and Rudy. There is everything what you need - space to relax and prepare food, to use internet and watch TV. Also you can do laundry and prepare yourself to next trip. Enjoy this place!

I stayed 3 nights in this hostel. Honestly I would like to say this place was great because the staff were so damn friendly and helpful. The hostel is new so they're still working on getting established among backpackers as a place to stay. I stayed in a private room and the room was basic but great. No complaints. But the bathroom... oh my god. I'm not sure how many people are expected to share the bathroom. The hostel was not full, but people were constantly queuing to get in to get a shower or go to the toilet. The bathroom also got cleaned once a day, and not very well at that. The drain in the shower was blocked so while having a lovely warm shower, I was standing ankle up in pubic hairs of other guests. It was appallingly dirty. Please guys, build more bathrooms and please clean them SEVERAL TIMES A DAY!!! The bathroom is new so with a little extra effort, there is so much to gain. The location of the hostel is great, right next to the artisan market. I also used the laundry service while I was there and the clothes came back as dirty as they were before the wash but the staff were kind enough not to charge me. To conclude, I would recommend this hostel due to the staff, ambiance, the communal areas (ping pong and fusball available) but only if the place manages to get their act together on bathroom cleanliness.

This hostel is a gem in this vibrant city. Very friendly and helpful people, very nice place to stay for some days. This hostel has a charming atmosphere, very mexican, but it is very clean and well organized. It is a perfect budget place for backpackers or other travelers.

I stayed here for a few days and enjoyed myself thoroughly. The hostel is brand new and everything is clean and in good condition. The people that run the place are super friendly, we hung out and had lots of fun. I'm a solo traveler and they showed me around a bit, so I really appreaciated that. I definitely recommend this place!
