I don't think Mexita lives up to it's rating at all. As an Italian living in Oaxaca I had a hankering for a traditional Napoli pizza. Recommended to me as the hot spot for authentic Italian cuisine, I was really disappointed to see that the ingredients that make a good Napoli pizza (tomatoes, mozzarella, olive oil and basil) completely removed and replaced with toppings that bared no resemblance to any Napoli i've eaten before. I didn't bother ordering it and instead shared the mushroom pasta and the mexita pizza. The pasta was packed with flavour, a bit heavy on the cheese and the proscuitto on the pizza was wet and over done with rocket. The house wine was ok and my partners beer was great, however the prices are absolutely ridiculous for what you're getting and i wont be going back!
