My sister and I have been meeting once or twice a year for Fluenz immersion programs - the BEST and most enjoyable Spanish- learning platform imaginable. A delicious cultural and educational adventure. Up until last fall we had been meeting in Mexico City - which we have grown to love; but this last trip to Oaxaca with Fluenz was a wonderful new experience. The teaching, as always, is excellent: enthusiastic and brilliant young language geniuses who make every lesson fun and unique. Accommodations - as in MC - were elegant, slightly artsy, comfortable, and run by warm and accommodating personnel. What was unique to being in Oaxaca was that the city is more easily navigable - even by foot. At no time did we feel unsafe or unable to venture out by ourselves. Oaxaca feels in many ways like a small town , only with better restaurants. Food was diverse and excellent. Don’t even start me on the moles! We loved the outdoor markets. You could buy anything from tripe sandwiches to beautiful hand-embroidered Indian dresses and baby clothes and shirts.
I cannot wait to return.

The instruction was very helpful. Very much appreciated different teachers with different backgrounds, accents, and views.
I will do this as many times as my budget and times allow. Love the immersion.

Oaxaca is just as amazing as all of the profesors with Fluenz. The accomodations are fabulous, the Oaxacan food is amazing, and best of all Fluenz provided me with the most comprehensive and wonderful Spanish classes. I plan to return to Oaxaca again for another immersion sometime. The restaurant experiences are so fantastic, it is unbelievable. All of my profesors are the most interesting and fun personalities to work with and learn from. I can't say enough about them and Fluenz.
