“Look inside”
Reviewed May 6, 2013

Very much in the baroque style. A lot of decoration and many side chapels to explore. Also very cool on a hot sunny day.

“Beautiful Historic Cathedral”
Reviewed March 19, 2013

There are churches everywhere in Oaxaca. This one was built in 1553. Local guides wait outside the door and will give you quite a good tour for a fee or you can wander around by yourself. We opted for the tour and gladly paid the price for the history and the stories.

“A lovely, quiet place at the Zocolo.”
Reviewed February 2, 2013

While I am not a religious person, I find the cathedral a beautiful and peaceful place to visit to get away from the busy city center.
