“Interesting for a stroll”
Reviewed August 5, 2013

This is a fairly standard market, but interesting for a stroll just to see all of the different products sold. Local friends told us that we must have breakfast there one day during our stay, and although I wasn't overwhelmed by the breakfast that I chose, it is certainly popular with the locals, so there must be something good about the food.

“Opens up your sense of sight, smell, and taste”
Reviewed July 25, 2013

An incredible journey into the diversity of food available in Oaxaca. From moles to chiles, cheeses, breads, fresh fish, fresh whole chicken and many more foods that will make your head swim. This is the place to visit and have a real cultural experience. There are several markets in the area, so make sure you ask for this one.
