“Real Oaxaca”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 22, 2013

If you really want to know what is Oaxaca, what they eat, and how they dress. You have to go. Best prices in town.

“Must exoerience in Oaxaca”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed February 7, 2013

A visit to Oaxaca without seeing this market would be sad indeed. Clothing, souvenirs, produce - you name it. And the comedores offer great food at very reasonable prices. Don't miss the tlyudas - sort of a Mexican style pizza and more than one person can possibly eat.

“Vibrant market”

Try eating in one of the various comedors - you will not be disappointed. I haven't got up the nerve to eat a grasshopper yet, but maybe soon...

“Check out the Beniot Juarez Market - walking distance from the Zocalo”
5 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 30, 2013

Picked up souvenirs, mescal and fabulous bags that I plan to use for lunch bags. There were some great leather bags here too. Lucky for us outside the market were Potato Chip Stands served with hot sauce. The best !Senor Cara de Papa I think.

“Value!”
4 of 5 bubbles Reviewed January 27, 2013

This is the perfect place to buy a few knick-knacks at a fraction of the cost compared to more posh shops. Grab your souvenirs from here!
