“Really disappointing.”
Reviewed February 11, 2013

Went to this restaurant bc it was so highly touted, but what a disappointment. Service slow and food overpriced and mediocre. Waiter totally disinterested in us and
Never retuned to see how food was, if we needed more water or wine or check up in any manner. The only,"wow," factor about this restaurant was the high bill for an unpleasurable eating experience.

“Great food, great service, excellent mole”
Reviewed January 23, 2013

Although pretty expensive, it is totally worth it. The service is amiable, and fast. I would recomend the tamarind and passion fruit pitchers for large groups, and everything with mole is really good, (and i don´t accualy like any other kind of mole), and for dessert, the creme brulee with eggnog is delicious

“A must while in Oaxaca”

Simple, yet elegant setting. Great food, with emphasis on local dishes.
Great area for cocktails. Live music. Romantic

“Top notch”
Reviewed January 22, 2013

This restaurant and Los Danzantes were the best restaurants in town, among those I tried. Wonderful rooftop dining terrace, great menu and food choices, helpful service (although not much English spoken) and decent wine selection. A clear evening dining on the terrace, with the Santo Domingo church lit up in the background, is a lovely experience.

“Oustanding service, great atmosphere and very good food.”
Reviewed January 6, 2013

A great dining experience here. The staff were possibly the best we have found - they had that rare quality of anticipating when we needed something and then being there to provide it. They went out of their way to make our dinner special and romantic. Food was excellent and the salsa which is made at your table to your taste is a brilliant idea. Loved it and thoroughly recommended.
